But prawn, with lennon you know he at least will work his socks off and will track back. Dembele won't.

So that's a very odd statement, dude.
I just fancied Dembele, Mason and Bentaleb would work more defensively against their midfield. We need a result today but I would not want him near the team if we were on a good run in the EPL
The midfield today is my ideal midfield only swapping Andros for Lennon.

I know. He scores and has a decent game and yet can't even make the bench?

For the life of me I cannot understand it. I know the dude his slow but he's probably still got the same pace as Paulinho, who has done nothing whatsoever to deserve a spot on the bench.

Sometimes I think some serious politics goes on at club.

Given how unlikely it is that we'll achieve top 4 this season, I'm delighted to see Poch putting our youngsters out there and getting them bedded in as a team for next year's triumphant campaign!

Let's be honest, even when we play with supposedly defensive midfielders we are still wide open.

Yeah it's not like any of dembele paulinho or Capoue shield our defense anyway. I don't have high expectations. I just want us to play well and be proactive

This won't be the team that faces Chelsea, but I'm happy with it for Everton. I'm hoping for a good game!

Everton have 5 players in their line-up who can single-handedly win the game for them. We have exactly 1 in Eriksen. We're going to struggle to create chances with the line-up Pochettino has chosen. Baines will completely shut down Lennon. We just better hope we can cling onto a 0-0 going into the half, so Poch can bring in Chadli, Lamela, and Dembele to try to get something from the game.

I can kind of see where he is coming from with Lennon being better at preventing Baines from getting too much joy, and with Eriksen expected to drift in from the left to make more of a three, but Coleman is pretty handy going forward....

V worried about Etoooo ghosting in behind Mason and Bentaleb and causing problems. I feel like hiding behind the sofa already!

Lennon on the left or right though, he'd be better on Coleman's side from a defensive pov?
Yeah, I don't think it will be 442 as laid out in the line-up.

I see...

Lloris

Vlad Faz Verts Davies

Mason Bentaleb

Soldado Eriksen Lennon

Kane

Maybe swap bobby for kane, but I'd be surprised if we didn't see that at least when we're going forward and lennon and the Arw drop when they have the ball.

Would definately put lennon on davies' side though as davies isn't quick at all and today they will be hammering our flanks. If poch does intend to stick eriksen on the left in a 442 for some odd reason that will not end well at all today and he'll end up having to change it.

lets be honest. most people decided they were going to complain about the lineup well before it was announced

So that was the team I chose apart from Bentaleb instead of Stambouli and Fazio for Dier. It will be interesting to see how we line up. Please not as a 4-2-3-1.

Spurs will line up 4-2-3-1 and I picked the exact same line up as you -- Spurs are in with a good shout today IMHO -- COYFS!!!!

(Fazio, please avoid red card) :nailbiting:
