COYS!!
People need to temper their expectations a bit. Mourinho just doesn't lose at home...
Depressingly thats more likely than a spurs winI'm kind of tired of feeling like, "right, this one's going to be the one where we go head to head with the big boys," so tonight Matthew, I'm predicting 5-0 Chelsea and us to finish with 8 players on the pitch. Hugo to get sent off within 3 minutes of kick off.
Eh... COYS
You are right there. Whats crazy is not a single one of our players would get in there team. They are at home which is a fortress too. We didnt win when we had the likes of Bale ect. Would snap anyones hand off for a draw. But just make me proud SpursSadly, player for player and position for position they are better than us. We could argue about who is the better keeper, but that isn't enough. We just need to park the bus and catch them on the counter. The good news Costa isn't playing, but we all know what Drogba has done over the years. I can see Lloris keeping very busy tonight! I'll still be 100% behind the team, but I am going into this with no high expectations.
11:15pm over here. I bid you all good night, and see you on the other side, COYS!
l1945?COYS.
Yid army!
Bit tipsy, let's hope I make it to l1945 and can still make out the tv by then...
Let us not be kittens-let us be lions.
Fear not, we are of the nature of the lion, and cannot descend to the destruction of mice and such small beasts.
Its because BT Sports had choice of fixture for tonight and they are showing Spurs vs Chelsea which is quite early in the second round of fixtures so decided to show the other bigish game tonight. Sucks, but at least they will show the match at White Heart Lane next time round.Off to watch a live Podcast being made by James Richardson for The Guardian somewhere in Bloomsbury. They were supposed to showing the game, but emailed a few days back to say they're now going to show the Scum vs Soton game as neither Sky nor BTSport are screening our match. Is that not a bit odd? Or am I completely wrong (and it's to do with showing it live in a public place)? I can't see the TV details for our match anywhere.
I'm clearly biased, but with two channels sharing the games, one would have expected the Chelsea vs Spurs match to be the higher profile of the 4 fixtures tonight? No?
You're a pessimistic twat!Call me a pessimistic twat but I'd take a low scoring, but good performance loss. They may not have Costa but have so many other big players.
