KDB is exactly the type of player we should be taking gambles on, like CFC did, when he first emerged. We were linked to him too, just like Courtois (long before Hugo signed) but never saw it through for whatever reason....

Chelsea owner Roman Abrahamovic has been accused by the chairman of Andrej Kramaric’s former club Dinamo Zagreb of making a £7.5m move for the HNK Rijeka striker in order to “entertain his friends.”

SSNHQ saying that Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Kramaric. He'll cost £6million and will most likely be loaned out to Vitesse.

I'd be surprised if he thinks that it's the end of his career.

It's disappointing from our perspective, but from his he is signing for a major club, likely getting a huge pay rise and still gets to play regularly, with the possibility of earning a place in the Chelsea squad next season. I'm failing to see the downside for him.

Yup, agree with all of that from his perspective, be interesting to see if he feels the same in 3 seasons time.

He'll just move on at a profit if he's any good, Chelsea seem to be playing the transfer game well now with the FFP rules. People say going there ruins your career, it's not always true

Re courtois, we thought we had him in the bag but Chelsea gazumped us at the last minute. We were in quite advanced talks according to itk at the time.

So now he's going to Leicester but there's a guaranteed agreement that at some point he will sign for Chelsea. It's like they are both buying him. Strange.

The stuff I've read suggests he wants to go to Chelsea, but his club want to sell him to Leicester as they've offered more money and his previous club have a huge sell on clause.

It seems we have ended our interest in him as of a few weeks ago. Last I heard was Mitchell went to Spain to watch him and he didn't have a great game. I think if we really wanted him we could probably get him but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Its probably a good move for him. He will see if he can perform in the Premier League until the end of the season and then when Leicester are relegated he can agitate for a move in the summer
