Apparently, if it goes through, he will be loaned out straight away to Leicester and he will be on 20 grand a week which really isn't that much considering. They are getting him for 7.5 which really isn't much at all. I wonder if we really did try hard to get him.

With the emergence of Kane I'm think the club might be looking for more of a LWF type of attacker. I would have liked this kid but it was a punt which may or may not work out so I'm not gutted. Plenty of other talent around.

Most likely for a profit. Chelsea are gaming the loan system to get around FFP.
I actually think that's a sound way to beat (as opposed to "get around") FFP.

Make a profit on your sales, by buying young talent low, loaning then selling high. Which creates enough profit to allow a large purchase every now and then. It's like they are running an investment fund business.

I assume he realises he will never be number one there and at the very best will be Costa's understudy? It's such a stupid move for a player of his age. At 23 he should be looking to be a starter, he will need to be if he wants to further his development. Even if he goes out on loan it's really not the ideal situation to be in. Dumb move in my opinion.

This is a player i would really like us to sign.. we'd get him for £7-10m and he looks like he's worth a gamble. 26 goals in all comps this season is very impressive regardless of what league you play in.

Telegraph and Guardian stating it's done and he'll be loaned to Vitesse straight away & not Leicester. Another Salah,he'll regret it & will end up wasting his time there but will earn more there then anywhere else.

Salah, marko Marin, van ginkel. Why go to immediately go out on loan then feature in a rotation system at some point? Don't people want to be the number one, score goals and play as much as possible on a top league. Or have they got an agent in their ear eyeing up their 20%?

If we really wanted him, we could get him as money does talk.

He'd be a really good signing for us and if we matched or beat the deal offered to him by Chelsea and he had 1st opportunities then I'm sure he'd come here.

Money does talk- and that's exactly why we wouldn't be able to get him instead of Chelsea.

You can add De Bruyne to that little list. Waste of talent going to the chavs.
