Luckily this time around we've got some real dross that we clearly need to rid ourselves of. Some of these guys aren't playing at all, or in the case of Kaboul, should not be playing at all - so getting rid won't be a great loss. But I'd still expect the usual Spurs operation, probably starting by selling the more useful players, getting rid of any squad 'options', then the real duffers will stay, and we won't make any progressive signings.

Just getting rid of some of the dross and replacing with the kids would be an improvement imo

I cannot believe Monaco wouldn't take Ade for free. They could use the depth as they're in the CL last 16 and are falling behind in the league, can afford his wages, and he's familiar with them. Surely he'd be worth it to them in Ligue 1.

Would be very happy if all this came off but my guess is it's too good to be true. However it is good to hear that the right players are potentially getting shifted.

I wonder how long lamela and certainly more so Soldado have left. Maybe if we didn't have Ade and we had 2 decent strikers then he would be gone too. I'm guessing he's skating on very thin ice. Very thin ice my pedigree chums!

I think it's much more likely we're struggling to move them on and Poch is just making the best of it, rather than them actively being a part of Poch's plans.
