It is amazing how less than a year ago he was viewed as the weak link in our side - by myself as well

Yet now he looks like one of our best and most consistent players

I am a shit judge of talent, but I can proudly say I have stuck by him since the early days. He is a hothead and I love it.

Ramos MK2
There is a worrying similarity to the end of season post League cup final in Ramos' season to this one, I just hope the similarities end there and it doesn't continue in to the start of next year

Today was very very poor

Despite how appalling we were today, Kazayuki Toda calls bullshit on you, maybe save something for the other cockpieces on the team as well?

Something's not right behind closed doors; lethargic performances and players look clueless. Mason and Bentaleb were being lauded at the beginning of this year but have been shit for several games. Townsend is out of his depth and Eriksen's looked off his game since the home tie against Fiorentina

poch continues to have no answers, we will be bottom half under this clown next season
No matter how many ways you try to spin it there's too many average players i'm afraid, we've found this out over the past 18 months or so. There isn't a manager apart from someone purely world class such as Mourinho who could have got us 4th this season.

Chiriches, Kaboul, Fazio, Townsend, Capoue, Stambouli, Paulinho, Adebayor, Soldado. Chadli's inconsistent too.

Mason also looks like he's going down that route at the moment but we need to be more patient with him.

We aren't going to progress until we replace quantity with quality.

Listen, Pochettino hasn't done a fantastic job this season. It's too early to judge him just yet, but whilst he hasn't been fantastic he hasn't done that badly either considering the hand he's been dealt. Look at our squad and where do you expect us to finish? 6th or 7th would be most people's answers.

Only Harry Kane, Eriksen (usually), Lloris, Vertonghen and Rose are ready, others are either still developing (Lamela, Mason, Bentaleb, Dier) or are just average.

We need to sell sell sell the players who are never going to be good enough and stop buying tat to replace them in the summer. Let's buy players that make a difference and fill out the squad with the academy. Howedes would be a great start.

I thought we were the 6th best team in the league - more likely the 7th - and I think I'd rather we stayed there now - Europa League is nonsense - fucks up everyone's season - the format of that "league" needs to be seriously revamped.

We've been pretty timid/shit since the Ar$e game and the Chelski cup final.

I can see what a fully functioning, tightly wound Mo Po team could be like - but my current fear with him is he can't see change or who needs changing.

Our back four is a mess - even if all fully fit.

Our central midfield mastermind pairing "Bentaleb + Mason" is more crackerjack than mastermind - peaking on New Years Day - rarely going forward or probing forward and it's been like that for weeks - but like Sherwood before him; MoPo persists.(Why?!?!)

I've not seen any decent wing-play for weeks, byline/crosses, trickery, incisive passing - we've become predictable and sadly boring - the one up front, every game reliance on Kane isn't doing him or the team any favours. We create very little.

It's been a transitional season with some great highlights - Beating Chelski, beating the Ar$e and getting to a cup final. On a player level; the emergence of Mr Kane, the development of Eriksen and the outstanding LLoris - but it does not and has not "papered over the cracks" - the favourite phrase of the SC site - and rightly so.

This season will lamely limp out - time to use the remaining games to use the current players that MoPo wants for next season. I'll give him time - always 3 years - but have we really moved forward under him? Fair play Dim Tim and Aston Villa.

Kane has papered over the cracks all season. If we don't have a massive change this summer then I can't see anything changing. I hope we finish 8th!!

Ps I still want Levy out

Can't believe how many people consistently blame the team selection. Who's going to come in?

Soldado? joke
Lamela? lolz
Paulinho? Worst player since Raziak

There is NO ONE ELSE!!

Or yeah, we have a 100 premier league goal striker outcast. GOOD MANAGEMENT and FAN SUPPORT

He shows heart and gets forward well but are people forgetting villa could of made a cuppa then crossed in the ball because he didnt want to close down the cross?!?

It is your basic job as a fullback, never let the fucking cross in... and its cost us a goal.

Every is so quick to jump on Pochettino's back, in true Tottenham fan style. How about the group of shit he's had to work with all year who let us down time and time again. I've never seen such a toothless side in years, we couldn't even score against Villa at home. We need about five new attacking options and that's no exaggeration. It's not just the manager to blame for fuck sake.

if poch picks the same starting 11 next game then you can add me into the poch out growing list, lost faith that he had any idea what hes doing, davies did well at CB when he came on against Burnley, fazio comes in and was dreadful today, let benteke have the ball cheaply all day.
