Rose MoM. Playing with great integrity. Props to him as cannot say that about most of the others.

Liked the look of Yedlin and he was well up for bombing forward.

Agreed. Rose is hands down my PotY. Always at least puts in 110% effort week in and week out. His run at the tail end in which he went to ground, hard, twice and still got up and kept calling for the ball was IMO the best moment of the game. If I were Poch, I'd show that clip every day in training for the rest of the week. Loving Rose's contribution this season.

What do u suggest ! Your a mason lover aren't ya ? Hahahahahahahahaha the most average individual ever to wear the shirt. Crap

Mason is a decent player, no more no less. He will do a job but you aren't going to win titles with him. Dembele has been here for three years and hasn't shown any signs of improvement. He has good dribbling skills and is strong on the ball but his passing isn't good enough for a centre midfielder and he is as thick as two planks.

Don't really care about Sherwood winning or ifs he smug in press conference. Deserved to win and deserves more respect from us. Only called it how he saw it last year. We all know deep down we have a bunch of average players and as a club we have been average for 25 years.

As much as it hurts to say it Tim and Villa wanted it more and they deservedly won. We've gone off the boil now for over a month and sadly Mauricio doesn't seem to be able to motivate our players into playing as a team. Far to many mistakes from way too many players led to today's downfall. We are just not playing as a team.
How I long for the days of our wheeler dealer, at least the football was entertaining.

What a load of fucking bollox.
Is it bollocks, we battered them but they defended deep all match like we did at the emirates and went for us on the counter

They missed two sitters, we didn't have a sitter all match, but we got two good goals but they werent clear cut chances that we created

We created half chances throughout the match

No matter how many ways you try to spin it there's too many average players i'm afraid, we've found this out over the past 18 months or so. There isn't a manager apart from someone purely world class such as Mourinho who could have got us 4th this season.

Chiriches, Kaboul, Fazio, Townsend, Capoue, Stambouli, Paulinho, Adebayor, Soldado. Chadli's inconsistent too.

Mason also looks like he's going down that route at the moment but we need to be more patient with him.

We aren't going to progress until we replace quantity with quality.

Listen, Pochettino hasn't done a fantastic job this season. It's too early to judge him just yet, but whilst he hasn't been fantastic he hasn't done that badly either considering the hand he's been dealt. Look at our squad and where do you expect us to finish? 6th or 7th would be most people's answers.

Only Harry Kane, Eriksen (usually), Lloris, Vertonghen and Rose are ready, others are either still developing (Lamela, Mason, Bentaleb, Dier) or are just average.

We need to sell sell sell the players who are never going to be good enough and stop buying tat to replace them in the summer. Let's buy players that make a difference and fill out the squad with the academy. Howedes would be a great start.
I don't expect top 4, i think with the squad we've got we will do well to have finished 6th, but i expect the manager to organise the defence, build a style, a shape and drill into the players what he expects. I don't see any shape, the high press is none existant, we have no width, no identity and don't understand why some players can play crap every week whilst other than are probably not going to perform any better but still don't get a luck in. Chadli hasn't had a good game for over 3 months, yet starts every game regardless.

It's like bingo, with the usual suspects coming out.
Have you forgotten that he's been saying that he brought along Kane and resurrected Adebayor. I can't stand the likes of you who were never intent on giving the likes of Poch a chance. Is it because they are foreign or just not Harry? Come on, spill the beans.
I can't stand the likes of you that would rather have a useless foreign but "trendy" fraud like AVB or Poch over a manager that'll be in the dressing room firing rockets up the arse of players making them play.

I'm fucking sick of a) watching us play fucking terrible terrible football in pursuit of some pathetic concept of a "philosophy"

Facts!
We were shit under Ramos in his philosophy. We were shit under AVB in his philosophy and now we're looking more and more and more shit under poch in his philosophy.

It's utterly bollocks and its RUINING us.

Poch killed the game when he's picking the starting eleven. Bentalab, Eriksen and Mason both had a very poor game. They are supposed to be the backbone of our spurs team, the hope of our future. Fazio, Chiriches and Townsend were all clowns and should not be anywhere near the team next season. Big question mark on Poch now whether he is the right man to take us to top4. Maybe he tried to dodge away European football next season

Nah. There's something definitely up here. I'm sure he's taking a look at townsend and chad with an eye on next season to see if he wants them or not. And he can also show levy that townsend isn't the player we need as I wouldn't be surprised if shinehead thinks he's gonna be worth billions in the coming years and wants to hold onto him.

There is no way he doesn't know Lamela is more beneficial to this team out of the two. That tells me that he's doing this deliberately for whatever reason.

Stinking game though. Painful, in fact.

That is unacceptable, as a manager you should be selecting a team to win matches first and foremost

More captain material than kane, which seems like a big profile raising stunt

And their goal was a complete fluke. We took our chances, played the better football and swarmed all over them out of possession. Its not even debatable.

Mate, he was AGAIN good defensively and offensively and constantly got forward. SURELY you can see now that he is good enough for number 1- our best player for the umpteenth time.

Please stop talking rubbish I am not a USUAL SUSPECT !!!!! Unfortunately the people who have shared my view about managers and players have probably been right most of the time...

I am giving my opinion in a free country and from the very beginning in I did not see what Poch had done to deserve the Spurs job, same with Sherwood and to a lesser extent AVB there is a pattern with Levi`s appointments lately.
One of the usual suspects just gave you a medal. Their names are instantly recognisable due to the nauseating frequency with which they occur. I can agree that Pochettino's choices have not been good, and he has appeared to be stubborn. He may have decided to keep going with the players he trusts. Our play today and against Burnley was awful, which has to be said. There appears to be no consistency in some of the decisions; the great interplay we've had at times has gone missing.
Anyway, read this:http://thepremierleagueowl.com/tottenham-the-ex-employee-and-the-hypocrisy/
I'm sure some of the usual suspects will be secretly happy that their hero returned to win.

Every is so quick to jump on Pochettino's back, in true Tottenham fan style. How about the group of shit he's had to work with all year who let us down time and time again. I've never seen such a toothless side in years, we couldn't even score against Villa at home. We need about five new attacking options and that's no exaggeration. It's not just the manager to blame for fuck sake.
I think to an extent that is true but equally the manager has to shoulder a lot of the blame also

He picks the starting line up, and is seemingly to be stubbornly sticking with something that clearly isn't working currently. He also is in charge of the subs and I think most would question the success of his subs in the last few games

Beyond that it's his job to motivate and instill tactical awareness into the squad and therefore he also has to shoulder some blame for the lack of effort and the like of unity/cohesion in the group - we're playing like an group of individuals on different wavelengths and that is the manager/coaching staffs job also

Too soon to write him off I agree - he has to be backed and given time to get his own players in and what not but I think there are plenty of justifiable reasons to be disappointed in him recently and he surely has to shoulder a good deal of the blame himself as the man in the hot seat

I thought we were the 6th best team in the league - more likely the 7th - and I think I'd rather we stayed there now - Europa League is nonsense - fucks up everyone's season - the format of that "league" needs to be seriously revamped.

If we finish 7th and it's an Arsenal/Liverpool final we still qualify for the Europa League. The only difference is our EL campaign will start in July.

'Ang on, 'ang on...I meant recently in contrast to the others.

I still think we need a new LB and have him competing with him. Can't fault his endeavour though and that is a huge developmental plus for him this season. Got a lot for respect for that. Poch brought that out of him as well tbf.
