Not sure that calling out ITK posters from other sites is going to help at all. He reads or hears about the mayhem elsewhere and then decides not to post anything? Cheers if that's the intention - another one off the list :(

Cue the comments about only questioning etc.

Nobody is questioning the validity of the info at all. More just trying to make sense of the wording, albeit that's caused some confusion. There's nothing wrong with discussing the perceived meaning of the information in a respectful way, nothing at all.

That's a pretty unnecessary and melodramatic response in truth.

Did you say bacon?
That's lovely dear.
Where are my false teeth?
I like a bit of bacon?
I haven't seen any beef.
I heard the beef was done...

Look at the history of Jasper ITK, he's not up there with BEN for inpenetrable sentences but he's not that far behind.
Make of it what you will, like all of it.

I am worried about this transfer window. League starts very soon.
The very top ITK dude, Mr Levy himself, suggested some of the business will inevitably be towards the end of the window, because that's how it is.

I'm happy to wait and see.

Thats good, lets hope he develops.

Now for this season, WTF are you doing Levy?

There is a plan. What it is and whether it succedes we will probably never know. But there is a plan.

Tbh if everything comes off that we think will, it might just work. We will be a very different, younger and more dynamic team at leadt.

Yup, Levy said final two weeks of the window is when most of the deals get over the line. Not because they aren't being worked on just that's the nature of it. We've got 43 days to go yet. Sit tight.

Yep, that's something I'm clinging on to. Levy doesn't tend to comment too much on proposed incomings so that seemed like confirmation that we'll at least be active before the window closes.

Whether things come off or not is impossible to know, but I'm certain we'll be attempting to make things happen.

Of course if one of those things is Moses I'd prefer it if we didn't bother.

To be fair to Jasper I think his McCarthy 'sorted' is down to the following:-

McCarthy wants us, or has even agreed terms in principle
He's our current plan A
Price is high but we have lennon as a bargaining chip (he has alluded to both of these)

Now maybe he is being naive in that with spurs the agreement of the fee is the crux of the deal, but then anyone reading his ITK (and taking his info in addition to other ITK and media) and expecting some imminent announcement is equally if not more naive IMHO.

That's what I am worried about, no preseason and get stuck with the leftovers

Bentaleb's case is extremely rare though, and is hardly something for any club to rely on for future introductions, including for Oduwa and especially for the expectation of "player than can make a difference to the first team."

The point isn't to advocate for Moses, it's to point out that we're light at winger, which we've been now for several seasons. We cannot allow this problem to persist yet again.
It's not extremely rare though, just off the top of my head, there are Ward-Prowse, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Sterling, Chambers, Wilshere & Sturridge that all played PL football without playing a lower league first.

Also, we wouldn't be "relying" on future intros, as he is being added to last seasons options, not replacing anyone.

My point is numbers isn't the issue, it's quality and I would rather try an unknown quantity from within our development team, than bring in a player, that will be on decent wages, that is known to be below average for the last 3 seasons.

I'm not saying sign no-one, it the right player is available get him, but if they aren't, then sign no-one. I'm sick of us having to move on deadwood and it seems we aren't learning form our mistakes.

All itk are from my perspective limited but generally honest. I read with laughter how we hang unto every word of these guys. They share opinions and what they hear and personally have varied judgment. I do not think it is called for to start becoming forensic on who is credible and not. What has grammar got to do with anything anyway with one like Ben?

Personally if I met Daniel Levy and I sat in on all negotiations I would not share anything as there are some non pleasing miserable sods out there who have nothing better to do than slag off who they do not like. Sad people indeed.

But we have 4 new players currently at the club doing pre-season. Unless you're Liverpool and just over-pay for each of your targets you're not gonna get everyone in at the start of pre-season. In an ideal world every club would want their business done by mid-July, that's just not how it works unfortunately.

DM might be sorted, DM might not be sorted. I cant get excited about any of this signings-related info. Personally I'm still waiting for the holy grail of ITK:

Poch has realised that we cannot play 4-2-4 every single week

At that point any central midfielder of ours might have more of a chance.

I like the transfer windows to date. Got rid of a lot of players who were bloating the squad and bought in what I would like to think are potentially 2 first teamers in Trippier and Alderweleird and a young centre back who can play in europe in Wimmer.

I do think we have to go into the new season however with a new cm and a new striking option otherwise there is a huge huge expectation placed on Kane to reproduce last season's performance which if we are honest will not happen to that level again. I hope that dm gets announced soon as some of the other teams business around us worries me.

Not a turnaround at all. I use an assumption that DM (McCarthy) is signed, based upon previous posts conversations, I then carried that argument on. Where then is the turnaround?
Isnt this a bit of a turnaround?

Is this two people talking?

... I feel dizzy
