I am glad I favour optimism.

Reading people on here could easily make somebody who is pessimistic commit suicide.

Even if we don't sign st or mf we have 2 new fast attacking players and a newly created dm.

Premier League clubs will be allowed to go into extra-time tonight to get their deals completed. But what do clubs have to do to be granted an extension?

Well, our chiefs news reporter Bryan Swanson has just been explaining on Sky Sports News HQ that between 4pm and 6pm clubs have to submit a Premier League deal sheet which shows evidence of an imminent transfer including the fee, signatures from club officials and players concerned.

If this is received by the Premier League by 6pm then they will grant a two-hour extension.

So deals could be coming through well into the evening...

I guess we'll cling on that little longer in hope

While I'm worried about getting a forward (not so much a CM), but retain some hope, I certainly don't see why we would have angst about Charlie Austin. He's on astronomical wages and we were never going to be able to pay him. That's why nobody is in for him
