The thing about this season is if we'd have won the games we should have when we have outplayed the oppo and have led...we'd be top.

Just shows you that once we cohere even more and are more dynamic and clinical we'll be in very good shape.

Bit dissapointing today but nice feeling proud about the team and the characters we seem to have at the club now. Poch seems like a v. decent person first and foremost and is all about the collective vs. stroking his own ego and his is own way (much more durable than the seige mentality Mourinho fosters) is getting players to run through walls for him it seems. Will be interesting to see how he deals with players as they grow and perhaps lose some hunger but I suspect the recruitment strategy we have now is as focused on mental strength and attitude as much as much as natural ability. 12-18months ago supporting Spurs was depressing so amazing how far we have come that we have a whole squad that is playing for the shirt

You realise that by admitting Lamela being taken off disrupted the side, you are also admitting he's a key member of the team, as otherwise it would have made no difference. And if you think by being a key component of our pressing side, he was a 'liability' then you clearly have no understanding of Pochettino's philosophy.
I suspect he was taken off simply because Poch figured he had played so much in the last six days that he might not have the legs and wanted some extra energy. I think the way we play subs can disrupt our game until they are on the pitch long enough to get up to speed ... on the other hand the way we play needs 95 minutes of pure energy and inevitably some subs will be needed

Good game today. Was a bit dissapointed with our fans when I was there today actually as usually we're really loud away at the Emirates but perhaps it was due to the shock that we were outplaying our arch rivals on their own turf!!!

We fully deserved to win this, they had a few headers but that aside we created far more and looked the better side.

They were bound to have a spell of pressure at some point but even when they did it wasn't like in previous seasons where we would shit ourselves every time they came forward, to be honest I really wasn't too worried and I think Hugo really should've saved the shot from Gibbs for their goal.

Overall proud of the team and the performance top top class!!!

Wish we'd sang Potch's name when he came over to clap us at the end.

He was also taken off because although he played well and was really getting stuck in, he was also very close to getting that 2nd booking so it was a no-brainer to take him off really.

Very, very happy with the performance. Shame we did not win since I have rarely seen such a dominant display but that dominance gives me lots and lots of hope for the future.

Well done lads!

Which is precisely why the owners should have invested more into buying an experienced striker to come on and help win games like this today. We've obviously improved massively, but it's so frustrating to know that a goal here and there in certain games would have us top of the league.

so we are probably one more striker away from the title!

anyway, Claude is one rational gunner he seems.. the video is entertaining no doubt!

There are a lot of good points to take from that game, and you can see we are improving. There is no need to fear any team at the moment.
