He has talent but he's also about the busiest **** we have. A perfect Pochettino player -- if he weren't so pretty he'd be terrifying.
Anyone notices he seems to be alot faster across the pitch now
Don't know if it's the weight training and fitness Poch is applying or if he's always had it hidden

Ignoring the commentary in the video for a minute, hard I know, it also shows the usefulness of the 'no look pass' when used correctly.
These aren't just flashy pointless 'skilllzz' that some lead you to believe.
In the video you can see the glance and head movement to the left makes Fernadinho slide into nothingness and causes Otamendi to commit to planting his right foot in anticipation of moving in what proved to be the wrong direction, allowing a path for the pass.
The same for the ball drag when facing up a defender, it's to create angles and commit players in order to find path.
Hoping these little bits of technical ability Lamela possesses start coming to the fore with even more regularity..
He did another great piece of skill and quick feet in injury time to lead him bearing down on goal and strangely chose to waste time. I was screaming at the telly for him to hold it up and put Chadli in!
A small point I know (and not just directed at Lamela), but I think a bit of ruthlessness and being more clinical in those breakaway situations is the only thing lacking in us I feel.

I see what you're saying and true I would've loved it if he'd laid it off to Chadli AND it ended in a goal, however he played the percentages and wasn't reckless.
The riskier option was to pass the ball and potentially lose it, which could've led to a quick break by Man City.
By heading to the corner flag he dragged players with him and wasted a few more very useful seconds.
I think it was quite a clever move!
Completely ignorant.Jeff Stelling just said about Poch's substitution 'and he brought on...of all people...Erik Lamela!'
So pathetic how he's still seen as some sort of bit-part player who's flopped. Shows how little they know.
Was that the player that, along with Eriksen, won us the match vs City.Jeff Stelling just said about Poch's substitution 'and he brought on...of all people...Erik Lamela!'

Ill apparentlyHe hasn't been in the line-up or on the bench since man city, correct?
Is he is injured?
He was training in Florence, my guess would be food poisoning. Would explain why he has not been evolved since Thursday. Would expect him back by next weekend, am surprised that nobody official has mentioned anything about it.
