A few players weren't great, and we slowed it down to a canter at 2-0 but it's job done.

Perfect weekend of results really. United/Spam going to a replay gives them each an extra fixture too.

all in all good performance and a comfortable win. Ahhhh. Ill relax now. Putting pressure on Leicester, 6 infront of arsenal. And just now, WH and man u will play again in the FA cup.

Sometimes you get dragged to your opponents level.

Job done. No injuries. Man Utd and West Ham have a replay.

I'll take it.

Game management not good enough again today.

Good win, but we really need to stop taking our foot off the pedal as soon as we gain a lead.

I dunno. Sure, we were wasteful but this is not a bad win for playing in second gear.. I feel we will be more up to it against Bournemouth.

Pretty sharp first half. Not entirely convincing after the break against the worst team in the PL. Thankful that they only hit the woodwork and Lescott missed a chance late on. Could have been 2-2 through sloppiness, We lost something when Alli and Lamela went off. Did Dier, Dembele or Kane not deserve a rest?

I think the lads are really aiming for the title.. It shows.. They played with such caution somehow if we compare it to the games we played in the middle of the season, we looked much more measured now than the freedom of play without pressure then..

Need to psych them up to continue the confidence!

We can't be too critical about the performances this stage of the season, the 3 points is all that matters. A clean sheet and another 2 to our goal difference and Kane is getting the goals again.

Id take another 8 wins like that.....

We may be two goals ahead and had a couple good moves but I think we've been awful today.

Just glad it was villa.

Players aren't handling being at the top of the tree too well. That's patently clear.

It's totally messing with their heads.

I think this was one of those games where you can genuinely make a case for players like Mason or Bentaleb to play. Players who will control a game, not keep fucking dawdling, not keep giving the ball away cheaply, set some tempo, move the ball quicker and exploit the utter wide open shitness of Villa.

I didn't enjoy watching that at all tbh. Super thankful and grateful to the boys for the 3 points and a step closer to CL, but the pressure of the title is too much for this lot and I don't want it to affect our CL chances.

Automatic CL qualification would be triffic.

+2 GD and 3 points. Will take that with bells on.

Folks, do yourselves a favour and leave the title as an extreme outside possibility, because we are simply way too wasteful in the final third to achieve it this season.

All of this is great experience for them moving forward though.

And if we come out of it with CL I'll be absolutely made-up as didn't think at all that we'd make it this season.
