It does make me wonder if there are issues in the background? Perhaps it's players out and players In had caused an imbalance? Added to injuries?

It's disappointing and it's time.to see something being done to alter the current trajectory. Not just words. It seems odd, that Pochettino was renowned for being ruthless in dropping underperforming players. Yet now we have the polar opposite? If this match wasn't a catalyst for change, in personnel and shape I'll be very surprised.

Stop happy clapping.
I wasn't happy clapping. It was a very poor performance. I was trying to stop others from doom mongering.

This is our best ever start in the premier league, in terms of points. And we've got no divine right to get out of a CL league group, as Alex Ferguson (the greatest manager ever) found out.

The team needs support, not baiting.

Deary me. We're in a battle with three seasoned CL teams, we're playing without our three best players (and Lamela), we're essentially playing away from home on a huge pitch that doesn't suit our play, and we're obviously going through a slump in confidence.

As far as I'm concerned, we're three points of the top of the league, still in the champions league, and our top scorer is coming back next week. And we've still got one of the best defences in Europe.

Cheer up folks :woot:
I'm sorry man, but it runs deeper that these problems on the surface..

It just shows how much we depend on Toby's composure and class that when he's out all our opposition run at Dier, Vertonghen and Davies to catch them in possession.

Janssen was better at holding up the ball, but he had no-one overlapping to play in. Alli needs Kane to link up with. Eriksen needs to be dropped ASAP. Sissoko is so one dimensional it's untrue. Walker needs some intelligence in front of him, in the form of Lamela.
Worryingly Son looks tired already.
I like N'koudou, he looks bright, intelligent and skilful. Winks is decent too.

Everyone just needs to keep calm. We're having a bad run, all teams have them at some point and we are having ours now.

Talk of full blown crisis is absolutely insane.

According to Martin Lipton (reporter), UEFA said we could play at WHL in Europa League but not in Champions' League. No idea why that is , and may not have changed our dire play, but certainly hasn't helped us.

Disgusting. Simply disgusting.

Dier and Walker were terrible. Moussa Dembele in his short amount of time could not hit a pass. Sissoko, scary bad. Apart form a period of 10 minutes, Eriksen was anonymous. Alli, below average.

Thought Wanyama, Vertonghen and Davies were just about average.

Our depth is being tested at the moment and it is failing, big time.

Hopefully Toby is back on Saturday, otherwise I think the dam will burst on the weekend and we'll get smashed in the NLD.

we all knew this was going to happen after the shocking transfer window, it was just so bad, sold all our squad depth and signed players (bar wanyama) who have no improved us at all and are EL players at best.

Poch is now under pressure in my opinion as players look lost at present and something is not right, remember we lost our chief scout and head of recruitment in the summer, why did they go?

We may have a great stadium coming, but something has happened in the club over the last few weeks and I am fearful it is our good old Levy once again which is costing us, time after time

Just hope the rumours about Qatari taking over are true, we need something or we risk being left behind

Shocking, not one positive apart from sissoko is still banned. Worst player in spurs shirt for years never mind fee. God awful don't know what else to say!

I said it from the second we signed him. Reminds me of Gilberto but worse

Unfortunately when you have such a disrupted defense, not only with Dier, who is a great player but not really in his right role plus Davies whose passing is abysmal and certainly not good enough, theres gonna be problems. Throw in a lack of bite up front, a missing Kane, Lamela too, well.....

You can also add questionable signings to that and part of me wonders, who made these signings in the summer? If it was Poch then my goodness.

Oh the irony if Poch mucks it all up and gets the chop because Levy backed him with big money signings :p

Yep. I'm sorry but if thungs dont change in a hurry we'll be looking for a new manager by December

Indeed. I hope not though because even though the football is pretty poor at the moment, there are players like Eriksen, Sissoko, possibly Son (who seemingly had just a purple patch) who are taking up positions that should be filled with a lot more quality. Plus it would be harsh to disregard what we have accomplished under Poch in his time with us but like you say, the performance today can only be described as disgusting and any manager can only have so many performances as such.
