You're having a laugh aren't you?

No. We've struggled to score - even look like scoring but it's not been for want of effort and commitment. We've controlled most games and been unlucky.

Not tonight. Tonight we were poor, didn't look like a team and visibly lost confidence as the game went on.

May be we should play our final home game at MK Dons rather than Wembley so that the opposition don't get so up for the game

Not sure Lamela would have won the game but I have come to accept that he plays like he cares and seems to embarrass others into joining him in putting a shift in, add to that he actually tries to unlock the opposition I think we should accommodate him with a free role and see how we go.
Think you're onto something there. At least he won't go missing. In preseason he kind of seemed to have that licence and it was bringing the best out of him. I'd drop Eriksen and Sissoko

I can see the gooners running riot against us, knowing us though we will smash them and then revert back to being awful again.
Nah, if you've supported us long enough, you know what's coming. We'll put in a cracking performance on Sunday. Because that's the game our players can get motivated for.

Seems pretty obvious who the season's scapegoat is. As poor as Sissoko has been, Walker has been even worse and two or three others just as bad, in fact there's not one player out there who's played well, the team as a whole were awful.

I'm hoping against hope that Kane returning lights some sort of spark in them, I think we may well have missed him a lot more than I thought we would.
Suppose this is our natural state, just need to get reacustomed to being a totally average outfit again and the pain should ease
Good for you. I'll stick to thinking we're a very good team having a bad bad run, but I see where you're coming from. Now you've accepted that you won't have any complaints going forward, will you? Shrewd :D

I cannot understand why Rose did not play. Also, why was Sissoko not taken off? We seem to be in free fall at the moment and if we play like this it will be carnage against the filth.

Absolutely abject. Apart from Newcastle last season that was the worst performance under Poch.

I fear we're going to get a spanking on Sunday.

Probably the best medicine, no point drawing another million games just to hear Poch say we played well and controlled the game

what I did notice tonight was the first mistake that Walker made and they should have scored, not one spurs player including the captain Lloris give him a bollocking, just look dis-interested. I think back to the great Utd team Keane would let players know they need to buck up. Not good enough.

Only reason I can think of is that he's suspended in the league so better to rest others.

He's up there with Zokora and Paulinho atm.

Paying the price for another 'moneyball' transfer window.

We didnt sign one single attacking player good enough to play at this level, (GKN maybe in the future but not yet).

To be honest the CL just hasn't felt the same to me this year, like, I haven't been nervous prior to any of the games at all which is strange for me as I always am before PL games. It may be because I don't think our football has actually been great so I know we're not going to get anywhere. Even when we were last in there and drew Real Madrid I was really looking forward to testing ourselves but if we somehow got through and drew them I'd be dreading the embarrassment.

If we don't improve our team as much as we should and with greater quality upon making CL then what is the point? We may as well just take the domestic cups more seriously and get a trophy in our cabinet.

Walking out of the stadium again with another loss here, so much for home sweet home, don't even get me started on the performance today, from back to front it was a complete shambles.

Just watched an interview with dele and dier and they are both saying we need to finish our chances!!! Are they not aware we didn't actually create any notable ones.
I'm very worried with these comments.. They didn't even see where the problem was..

The City result looking like a disaster now. Same thing happened last season when everyone bigged us up, we shat the bed then as well.

agreed. i knew at FT after city game when sky and everybody was bigging us up we would crumble. although i didnt think this bad
