May be we should play our final home game at MK Dons rather than Wembley so that the opposition don't get so up for the game

Its definitely back fired. Fans too far away and spread to thin. I think we may struggle there next year

I honestly think that the overall team performances with the return of Kane and Toby.
Toby will provide the stability among the defensive players and Kane has a better understanding
with the attacking players.

Somethings not right about that Sissoko signing, he doesnt even fit the philosophy of inverted wingers. This has got Levy's fingerprints all over it.

Deary me. We're in a battle with three seasoned CL teams, we're playing without our three best players (and Lamela and Rose), we're essentially playing away from home on a huge pitch that doesn't suit our play, and we're obviously going through a slump in confidence.

As far as I'm concerned, we're three points of the top of the league, still in the champions league, and our top scorer is coming back next week. And we've still got one of the best defences in Europe.

Cheer up folks :woot:

Dude, I'm all for keeping moral up, but you can't defend how totally fucking crap we've been recently. 6 goal less games is embarrassing. And tonight was shambolic. We'd play better bringing back Christian sodding Gross and a 60 year old Klinsmann at this point!

Seems pretty obvious who the season's scapegoat is. As poor as Sissoko has been, Walker has been even worse and two or three others just as bad, in fact there's not one player out there who's played well, the team as a whole were awful.

I'm hoping against hope that Kane returning lights some sort of spark in them, I think we may well have missed him a lot more than I thought we would.

Good for you. I'll stick to thinking we're a very good team having a bad bad run, but I see where you're coming from. Now you've accepted that you won't have any complaints going forward, will you? Shrewd :D

Disgusting. Simply disgusting.

Dier and Walker were terrible. Moussa Dembele in his short amount of time could not hit a pass. Sissoko, scary bad. Apart form a period of 10 minutes, Eriksen was anonymous. Alli, below average.

Thought Wanyama, Vertonghen and Davies were just about average.

Our depth is being tested at the moment and it is failing, big time.

Hopefully Toby is back on Saturday, otherwise I think the dam will burst on the weekend and we'll get smashed in the NLD.

It makes me laugh that 7 people so far have disagreed with this post. It contains nothing more than a series of facts. Just goes to show, people can't think rationally when the team loses. It's all emotions. Anyone who challenges the chosen emotion - in this case, extreme frustration - gets a disagree, regardless of what they've actually said. Embarrassing.

Thank fuck i cant get to watch the game on sunday live.will check the score at full time and decide then if it even worth watching. Spent loads in the transfer window on crap.what we needed was clever players with some pace but instead we bought more boxers.we really are painfully average to watch and have been like that in nearly ever game this season.

Unfortunately, we only have one way of playing and in recent weeks it seems all our opponents have worked us out. Until we get a balanced squad with width we arent going to challenge for anything.

Sissoko wasn't good, but he wasn't the only one & I'm not sure I can remember the last time we had a team playing with such little confidence. Really very, very poor.

On the bus making my way home from game.... All four of our summer signings were on the pitch in the second half, that's quite damning considering how we finished the game. £68m odd spunked on them with only VW looking like any kind of value.

We didn't need to make wholesale changes in the summer, just 2 or 3 TOP QUALITY players to improve our first team/squad. We ended up with 2016 Kevin Davies, a winger clearly out of his depth at this level and a record signing who is far worse than the winger we sold to WBA ffs. It's not like we wasn't warned about Moussa fucking Sissoko eh......

And I thought having some power in our players are good.. But they are now fouling others not in a clever way, and only an outlet for frustration..

I just can't believe how badly we played. Did anyone from the club talk to the groundsmen from Wembley to discuss what length we wanted the grass and how much moisture, after all we were the home club. It looked to me as if we had never even warmed up on the pitch, leave alone practiced on it. We seemed to have no idea how slow it was and, yet again, we have no idea how to hit a pass so that it reached the intended recipient. We were lethargic and way too casual. It looked as if we wanted to lose. So many played badly it's just about impossible to see anything good from this game. I would normally say put the same players out for the next match to give them a chance toi redeem themselves, but if that were to happen it would be a record defeat to Le Arse. I am disgusted by that lack of performance.

Sissoko was bad but he wasn't the only one. We are dreadfully out of form and missing our two key men in Kane and Toby. We are not moving the ball quickly enough and I reckon Lloris made the most forward passes all night.

Something needs to change and quickly. I actually think the NLD might be the best thing for the players right now. Huge focus and massive meaning to this game.

No wonder the atmosphere was so toxic tonight though, never ever got going, never tested their keeper once, just all round poor. I don't even know what else there is to say

My sisters wedding on Saturday and will have been tight to get back home in time for the game on Sunday, might be a good thing if I don't get back in time so I don't have to watch us get humiliated.

Yep. I'm really dreading next year.

On the performance. Well... there wasn't one. The worst I've seen in a long time. I can believe what I've just paid to watch.

As side from all the problems. What gets me is that 85th minute. Not a single ball into the box. It was just pathetic.
