@davidmatzdorf @tottenmal and @Wine Gum , thanks for the info and taking the time to keep us mere mortals informed. It really is much appreciated.
Wasn't solar panels, or something like that, mentioned at the planning permission meeting and dismissed as not being cost effective and/or safety reasons?
I dont think it will be, ours will be more like the Sappon Arena(the mechanism)If anybody's interested, there's a programme on Discovery Science this morning - Extreme Engineering. This episode is about the Arizona Cardinals new stadium which features a slide out playing surface. No idea whether it has any resemblance to how the new WHL pitch will work but may be interesting

Some of the vomitories seem unnecessarily is large - could be the American NFL influence, where stadiums have to cater for large numbers of obese people.
Agree. Really don't like them, it opens up the stadium too muchI hate to be negative about our lovely stadium but I really am nor keen on the glass gaps between the roof and seats.
I know there is likely a very good reason for them like getting sunlight in but it sort of looks a bit temporary to me. No doubt it will look better in reality.
HotspurSam on sky scraper city did a blog post detailing the corporate and premium seating.
Worth a read for anybody interested in that side of the new ground.

Oh and as it says in the title 'Micro Brewery anybody'? I'd like to see the club supporting guys like Redemption and Beavertown than doing there own.
Is this such a good idea anyway?Looks like City have made their own Tunnel Club, which is the exact same as the one at our new Stadium

I watch those with my 18 month old son. His first word was "digger".
Pretty sure I read an interview with one of the guys from Beavertown who said they'd been in discussions with the club.HotspurSam on sky scraper city did a blog post detailing the corporate and premium seating.

I might have this wrong but surely the shadow in the stadium is wrong in this image, assuming we are looking south east?A rough seat preview from the north west corner. Posted on sky scraper city. View attachment 27426
The top tier has one helluva steep rake!
Doesn't it depend on time of day?I might have this wrong but surely the shadow in the stadium is wrong in this image, assuming we are looking south east?
