He'll never be the most graceful or Sprusesque footballer but he's showing he can affect games and offer something different, which is why we shelled out for him

He is starting to prove me wrong and definitely impacting on games. Don't think he will help us against the better full backs etc but has been doing well the last few games.

Unfortunately, some just wont have their minds changed regarding Sissoko, however well he plays. He has caught Lamela syndrome.

Hes been really good recently and I really think a goal would do wonders for him. there was the time earlier when the ball was scooped up to him in the area. A confident player would have volleyed that at goal, but instead he chose to cushion a header to someone else which was cleared and also another occasion when he had the ball on the edge of the area in a perfect position to whip a shot in, but instead chose the safe option.

Whilst theres nothing wrong with that, a goal would make him much more of a threat.

He has like 10 goals in 120 games or something like that for Newcastle and his record prior and with France isn't much better. I think it's a bit of a stretch to expect goals from him. One of the reasons the transfer fee was so shocking.

Give him about 5-10 more games and I think you'll see him start to shoot more and take more responsibility, definitely more to come from him.

Think people are getting slightly carried away. Improved, deffinatley. Really good? Not for me, hes put in a few decent performances (nothing above the players we have deemed not good enough for us though)

Still don't think he will ever state a case for being in our strongest 11 in his time here which is ludicrous for a record signing in the peak of his career. (Not his fault)

dont know what he gives us besides brute force.
Vision. Cute through-balls and an eye for getting a ball into the box early after striving to get in behind. Tonight he played some, final-third, balls Eriksen should have been attempting and ones Lamela often does.

I'm sure he'll do fine here and be a strong squad player.

just needs this season to bed in properly.

Been much better and made an impact in the last few games, but lets not forget those through balls (good though they were) were at a point where the opposition were overcommitting or undermanned so there was much more space to counter, space not afforded us in most games, his touch and dribbling technique is still a pick and mix.
Some buffon reporter has said Sissoko was pants and Dembele very good... clueless muppet.
When did Buffon become a reporter

Our team seems very divisive ATM, tonight in the match thread we had people saying; Dembele = shit or MoTM. Sissoko, Shit or MotM, Eriksen Shit or MotM. Wanyama, Shit, or everywhere, bossing the game...

We're all guilty to some extent of seeing the good in our favourites and the bad in those we're less enamoured with, but Dembele, does seem to get smoke blown up his arse when doing very little (second game I've noticed the crowd singing his name after winning the ball back that he'd given away never seen that level of devotion for anyone)

It really is laughable how short sighted football fans have become these days. The amount of people who wanted to bin him after 5-6 appearances is staggering.

Should we have bought him? Perhaps not. But he's showing that with higher levels of fitness and confidence that he's got something to bring to the party here.

He's done well recently but it wasn't just his below par performances early on it was his GBH for the red and his best attempt to get another red against Burnley that caused fans to question the signing.

I think we can only fairly judge Sissoko after a full Pochettino pre-season, he's been playing catch up since he arrived. He's definitely improved in the last few games but then he didn't have far to climb. Hopefully we've a player that can use his pace and power more effectively in the future.......
