Both goals were defended poorly and not because of Kane's 'presence'.
If Jansen started instead of Kane them goals would of still gone in.

Luiz was no where near Kane for the first goal he got sucked towards the ball this forced Azpilucuetta to move away from Alli as the cross came in.

The second Luiz was on Kane. Cahill closed the ball down.

So he wasn't really being double marked for the goals. We could've played any striker and Alli would've still scored them two goals. You are giving Kane way to much credit imo

If Janssen is on the pitch Luiz isn't keeping and eye out for him unlike Kane.

Just listened through a few Poch post match interviews on Sky, BeanyManSports, BBC and Spurs Official site.

At no point did he mention himself, or how he undid Conte, or indeed anything me,me,me. He was complimentary about the team, there effort to give commitment and the improvement and success from last seasons disappointments had given them.

When you compare this to Wenger and Pep over the past few days, not to mention that prick Jose it's a breath of fresh air to see and hear from a football manager who can show humility in victory as well as defeat.

As a footnote, i would like to add that in as many interviews Conte did likewise and also showed that in the heat of defeat he too was both complimentary and gracious, something that the forementioned managers wouldn't even understand.

Poch's interviews are the most boring on the planet - its hard from what you see to understand how he achieves such fantastic results?

Just remembered to mention something that piised me off in the post match analysis.
Without taking away Spurs skill (yeah ok) it was a defensive error that allowed the goal.
Ay? Really!!!!
EVERY FKIN GOAL EVER SCORED is a defensive error you twats. Otherwise there'd never be a bloody goal. Every game we've won the media seem to be focusing on 'how poor' the opposition are rather than looking at why.
The old SKY love in with Man U, Liverppol, Chelsea and Arsenal is in full flow.
Man U get a 2.0 win AT HOME, against a piss poor WHAM team wrongly down to 10 men for 80min, with a goal that was blatantly offside and, lets be honest, Wham should have scored at least 1. And yet Maureen has now got them flying and 'he's back, etc etc.
Man City on the other hand won WITH 10 men and yet PEP is a clueless buffoon.
Man U should have played WITH 10men for 4 games this season but haven't. To me it looks very much like the PL want Man U in the top 4 and by hook or by crook they're going to do their best to make sure it happens.
Personally I dont think they will finish top 4 because they arent good enough no matter what the media seem to say. Like last season I think their true colours will show through soon.
Sorry for going off track but this media loving for the Sky 4 pisses me off

I never get the "every goal is an error" thinking, in a 1-2 or any run off a man , unless the defenders are mind readers they are always going to be second as they are reacting to the runner running, then the perfect ball, whether 1-2, through ball, cross etc will always find them ahead of their defender.

It's like starting a 100 metre race, if one of the runners instigated the start by sprinting off, how much advantage would that be...

some goals are just un-defendable (indefensible is wrong)

But you can always say if they did this or that it wouldnt have been a goal.
No goal is indefensible imo.

I actually like Conte. He seems like a genuine guy.

Player for player, I would honestly only take Hazard from them. I honestly believe we are superior to them all over the pitch and despite their winning run and league position, if both teams play their best, we should beat them.

Lloris is better than Courtois

Toby and Vertonghen are both far, far better than any of their centre backs

Walker and Rose are both far, far better than Moses, Alonso and Azpilicueta

Wanyama and Dembele are far better than Kante and Matic

Kane and Costa is a wash - obv I would say Kane.

Alli and Eriksen are better than Willian or Fabregas or Pedro.

Hazard is the standout player.

I think a few people openly disagreed with me on this also...

Agree.

People may not like his touchline antics but with him I do think it's genuine emotion. It's like he's coaching from the touchline (apparently Alonso was getting an earful!)

You listen to Conte speak and he doesn't sound like someone who wants the spotlight. He's quite reserved.

Unlike Maureen and Klopp who play up for the cameras and provide sound-bites.

The 'you're shit' chant at the end made us chuckle here at home.

It was great. As was the ones against West Ham.

Anyone got any videos of it. I was too busy falling off my chair.

For me, the "you're shit" chant was very annoying. Because they aren't. They're a top side.

For us to be chanting "you're shit" when we're beating the Premiership leaders 2-0 just seems perverse. Why would we want to label the top side that we are dismantling as "shit" when we're in the process of beating them soundly?

You're reading way too much into it. It's just a laugh. It's meaning was to wind them up.
