Are we linked with Ihanacho? I hope not, he is a poor mans Sturridge... and we are too good for Sturridge
That's not true, I'd take Sturridge in a heartbeat if he didn't have so many injury issues, and Ihenacho looks a fantastic prospect and would be a great backup for Kane.

I'd take Sturridge in a heartbeat if you could guaranty that he, given backup's minutes, would stay healthy for the full season. Game changer off the bench.

He needs a good poching, though. Bit of a hot head on the ball and when he's in good positions. Poch could bring much needed composure and control to his game.

Exiting prospect if handled correctly - fast, strong and determined.

Kelechi Iheanacho's Agent "it's clear he won’t be sold to a direct title rival. But Everton and West Ham we'll have to wait and see.", so that's off the table, and the exact reason the Walker transfer seems unlikely.
The can suck out. Will be super pissed if Levy let's them mug us off like that vis Walker.

Don't want Sturridge, he's finished at the top level. I also don't get the hype about Iheanacho, has never looked anything special to me...

In all honesty, he's clearly a good player with massive potential but where does he fit into our squad? Danny Rose is the best LB in the league and it'd be incredibly harsh to shaft Ben Davies.
In a 3-4-3 he could be LWB back up, with Davies being LCB back up and Wimmer (if still here) being CB back up.

In 4-2-3-1, he could be AMLC or AMCR back up, with Davies being LB back up.

I'm over simplifying things, but as a "back up 11" (not that we ever play a complete back up 11) that's how it could work.

Also, he would be a good player to have on the bench, as he has pace, can add width and is decent in the opposition area.
