That's funny.

I remember a few years ago you commenting on what a good player you thought Fazio was. This wasn't in relation to playing for another team - you were saying that he was good fit for Tottenham Hotspur. Now you appear to be backtracking on this.

As in all disagreements on here with regards to a player's worth it came down to let's wait and see. Well time's up.

He was never a good fit for Spurs. Don't know why he was even purchased. He was a slow cart-horse then and, at age 30 now, he may even be a slower cart-horse.

When we had this discussion some time ago (when he was still with the team) you were ultra-positive about him. For you to say that you never said he should be playing for Tottenham Hotspur is simply not true.
You have a weird memory of this and I don't think any of it is actually accurate.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Can anyone quote anything ffs?

Would love it if anyone knows how to show your posts going back a few years when Fazio was playing for the Club - or our 'discussions' on Fazio. That would clarify things nicely. Anyone???

My memory on this is fine.

You must have a very selective memory - or choose not to admit to what you have written in this forum.

Perfect!

I can't be bothered to go through my own dumb shit though.

@Jospur go nuts my friend.

Sometimes right:

I'm willing to bet Fazio would go somewhere else and be an absolute rock. Especially in a low block.

Sometimes wrong:

Sweech said:
I really don't think Alderweireld is even an upgrade on Fazio and personally I'd rather have the option of having an aerially dominant player like Fazio in the squad rather than a moreofthesame player like Alderweireld.

But mostly just a massive waste of my time :unsure:

I like King, but don't see the need for him. Harrison will soon need minutes as will Sterling. And looking at the photos of our first training session in the US, there seem to be plenty of Vincent who looks extremely happy. If he's not going to feature, or he's on his way out, VJ is putting a really brave face on it.

Can anyone explain to me why they think King is suddenly legit? He's pretty old and had one really good half season. That's it.

What sets this guy apart from Michu, Wilfried Bony, Demba Ba, etc?

The even more surprising thing is how many people are vehemently supportive of him and shoot down any doubters when I know full well you're not all watching a bunch of Bournemouth games.

Demba Ba scored a goal every other game for three seasons in the premier league.

Michu was hit by injury in his second season and never really recovered. No idea if he'd keep up his scoring rate of he was fit though. He did score 15 in La Liga the season before joining Swansea though.

Bony scored 26 goals in 56 league games in a season and a half at Swansea.

Bony and Ba both stopped scoring when they went to big clubs as back up so that would be my concern with King. I'd assume that his versatility would mean that he'd be more involved than either of those two though.

The thing about King is that he's shown that he can do it now. All he needs is the confidence and the coaching to keep it going. I think we can all agree that £30m is ridiculous money, but he's going to be a replacement for one of our squad players. We should probably just look at the difference between say the £20m we might get for Sissoko and the £30m we might pay for King and then work out of he's worth that extra £10m. He'd be on less money than Sissoko as well.

Josh King did very well last season. No reason why he can't do the same this season. Plays well across the front three.

This. I've never followed his career, his goal stats aren't great, but something about him convinced Bournemouth that he could play in the premier league so it's not as if he'd been playing badly before then.

Ok, i'm from Norway, and have had a close eye on King for many years.

What is very clear, is that most of you are so way off in juding him as a player from dick shit!

Most of you have seen his stats, a couple of youtube clips and a few have seen him more than a couple of games.

Won't go in to many details, but he has been very unlucky with injuries (but is not injury prone) that has been at crucial stages in his development- so this guy will be a late bloomer.

Mark my words- Joshua King-for even 30 mill- will be concidered a steal in two years ahead under Poch.

I recon we can get him cheaper though!

and who the fuck are people here expecting we can get who is better- and fits our VERY stright list al'a Levy style and willing to start the bench?

I rest my case(y)

After seeing Jansen again tonight, his movement and ability or choice to hide away at times and look flustered is starting to grate on me, i believe King would be better for us and offer us more. Jansen has his qualities and im one of the ones that wants to see him do well but he seems to lack the tenacity, i still believe there is quality in him but the more i see him i dont think hes right for us, however as i have said before 30M for king is more than daylight robbery, in todays market 20M max even then im not happy we would spend that on him but thats todays silly money market. Id rather if we spent that kind of money we go for ineacho from city
