Stange considering the Sanchez signing.

Can only assume that Wimmer is definitely on the way out (WBA?) and that CCV will be loaned/sold.

Puts doubt into Aurier too as i'd imagine that Barkley and Gazzaniga will be our remaining two transfers out of 4 projected by Poch.

I'm not ITK but I don't think Poch was including Gazzaniga in the four signings he said he wanted....

Looks like he could be a Dier understudy. The pessimistic me wonders if this means Dier could be off next year then. The optimistic me thinks well then at least we're dealing with it early.

Playing style wise, there seems a lovely balance to Sanchez and Foyth eventually.

Under the tutelage of Poch, with Verts and Alderweireld as mentors and perhaps CCV to be in the mix too, it looks like we're planning for our long term future.

Bonus is, they appear to be cracking players now too.

Happy with this one. One for the future and tbh I don't think CCV is quite ready. Needs a loan move just like Onomah. Having a few more centre backs will also result in Dier being able to get some more playing time in midfield which will keep Wanyama fresh for the big games.

Has anyone asked about work permits yet? If he's not a full international, can he still get one - does it help that Argentina are quite highly ranked? Has it all changed? Does he have a European passport?

This may come off as moaning but i'm afraid this will be the end for one of our belgians. Not this window but potentially next summer. I may be wrong of course. Sell Wimmer, keep Dier in midfield, CCV not ready or out on loan - that leaves us with with 4 center backs which should be good for rotation. Foyth probably is one for the future as well - like CCV.

Or the beginning of 3 at the back being our permanent system
