I think he's Wimmers replacement.
Sanchez is Diers replacement as Dier is no longer going to play CB for us. Leaves us with 3 first team centre backs and two young ones in him and CCV.

Based on JJs comments in the past this isn't one for immediate first team action, but what a great sign if he has indeed pushed for us over PSG.

This is where having a manager like Poch makes a difference. I don't think the previous managers had that much influence!

Signing Sanchez and possibly Foyth reaffirms the point that Poch is here for the long haul, he ain't here to use us as a stepping stone to a bigger club.

Shankley used to say you should aim to bring in 4 new players a year, 2 to go in the 1st team squad & 2 for the future & if this guy signs I'd see him as one for the future.

All very exciting and confusing.

Think will just wait for itks to enlighten us and Stoof to put his mark on it rather than going through guessing game.

Been patiently waiting in anticipation can handle another two weeks.

Apologies if any typos the straight jacket does make it hard to tipe

Surely the Sanchez signing can do nothing but help convince this young man where his future lies...done deal by Monday night I reckon and another piece of Poch's jigsaw clicks into place. Great time to be a supporter....nothing but positive vibes. COYS !!

He'll be here as long as he gets on with the chairman, whomever it may be, and he feels he's being backed.

This may come off as moaning but i'm afraid this will be the end for one of our belgians. Not this window but potentially next summer. I may be wrong of course. Sell Wimmer, keep Dier in midfield, CCV not ready or out on loan - that leaves us with with 4 center backs which should be good for rotation. Foyth probably is one for the future as well - like CCV.
Much in the same way as when we bought Janssen some said it meant Kane would be off.

So total bollocks imo.

We need depth. Everyone's been going on about it and then as soon as we add it everyone moans it means we'll be selling first teamers. Can't please everyone I guess.

Sorry but it was pretty obvious we only had one striker when we bought Jannsen so that's not a very good comparison. I'd be grateful if you could point me in the direction of any links suggesting Kane was off too. If Toby doesn't sign that contract he'll be off whether you like it or not.
