He's not worth €40-50m even with today's ridiculous inflation.
I hate the prices thrown around these days as I don't believe anyone is worth that kind of money. They could say he would cost £100m, but doesn't mean we would have to sign him after a loan. Would be a good option either way.

Something has come to light which will please the BSoDL. We have a tight promise agreement with the bank, on managing our spend. This goes back 5 years. This is the reason we got finance for the stadium. To keep it silly simple; there are valid reasons for 'net spend'. It is a very careful
balancing act, and I for one have given our Daniel silent stick for the way he deals.

Told next season will see us change this approach, and onwards and upwards.

And will this mean an end to the dreaded Spurs wage structure restrictions? Just in the nick of time if it will....

Makes perfect sense. "We'll give you the funds for the stadium on condition you do not spend beyond your means".

Not really a BSODL - more just the actual best way of dealing with stuff, i.e. after the timeframe for doing stuff has actually passed.

@Insomnia

"WHY HAVEN'T YOU FINISHED THAT REPORT FOR ME?"
"You said you wanted it on Friday, @Insomnia, its Wednesday"

...

[on Friday] "Here's your report, @Insomnia"
"Oh yes, very good, sorry for getting completely upset at something that hadn't yet happened"

But, yeah you're right, definitely worth getting grumpy about stuff now. ;)

3. RB we are very confident, and everything absolutely agreed. Chavs have had verbals to top our price by a little distance. But RB has ZERO interest in even reading what have to offer, much less anything else. He is already chatting to some of our players, and can't wait. Everton do not have much scope for us to increase bid. It is believed will go to DLD.

As well as Sessegnon, a lot of respect for Ross Barkley.

Was given a lot of shit in The S*n a few months back, and branded stupid, clueless etc. in the tabloids, but going off Herc’s info he knows what’s best for his development as a footballer. Unlike many other mercenaries *cough cough Kyle Walker* who choose paycheck over playing-time and progession.

Sancho, Sessegnon and Barkley, regardless of whether we get them (I hope we do), I’m more than happy we’re attracting players who actually want to play for Spurs under Pochettino as their first choice, unlike our rivals: Arsenal apparently offering the Ox £180k-a-week to get him to sign. IMO, if it gets to that stage and they still don’t want to sign, just get rid, no player is bigger than the club.

PS thanks Herc + Trix for the info, I ain’t getting no work done today fo’ sure

I think Dembele at Celtic is one of those attackers on our list of 4. We were interested last year and his stock has only risen.

Suso may be the player in Italy we could loan.

We had ITK that he cannot pass a medical, so no top clubs will touch him.

I'm sorry but a window of Sanchez, Aurier, Barkley and King would be brilliant.

Don't understand the doommongers.

TBH if we could get Josh King for anything round £15-25 million and sell on Janssen for around the same amount I wouldn't complain.

I think Josh King has potential, and he's only 25; He's still got time to improve. He'd be a very solid player to be back up to Kane.

There was itk over on coys back in May that we bid £15m for josh king. So he's definitely on a list somewhere!

No I won't. It wasn't in good spirit. This is the last post I will ever make on here. This place is full of idiots, and that includes a couple of the staff. I found it all very offensive.

Offended by words in a box on a screen.

Oh I piss.

What a time to be alive.
