Just so I'm clear, when @Hercules says Foyth "we all know about", was that meant in a positive way?

I hope so, I'm really keen on us signing him, looks a talent.

I'm sorry but a window of Sanchez, Aurier, Barkley and King would be brilliant.

Don't understand the doommongers.

Agreed.

I think most would have taken that at the start of the window, but because expectations get raised in between, it then seems like a disappointment at the end of the window.

I'd be happy if that was the business we ended up doing.

JJ has been very quiet....he has never mentioned or commented om any forward other than Balde. So will be interesting to see if he thinks we have 4 options.

Personally think it will just be Sanchez, Aurier, Foyth and Barkley. Which improves the squad from last year but not the first 11 in my opinion. We need pace and hopefully Hercules is right in that we are looking for them!

Aurier within 3 months of time under Poch would probably be a better player than Walker.

If we can get him over the line, because it sounds agonisingly close and add Barkley, that would be a fabulous window.

Put Sessengon on top of that and it's a rip-roaring, unquestionable success.

@Insomnia

"WHY HAVEN'T YOU FINISHED THAT REPORT FOR ME?"
"You said you wanted it on Friday, @Insomnia, its Wednesday"

...

[on Friday] "Here's your report, @Insomnia"
"Oh yes, very good, sorry for getting completely upset at something that hadn't yet happened"

But, yeah you're right, definitely worth getting grumpy about stuff now. ;)
It's in your kitchen , I left in there in a right mess, like Mrs Stoof *winky smilie face

I'd rather we just gambled on another 10 mil winger than buy Josh King. He had one half decent season.
So you'd prefer a £10 million random winger from France than a 25 year old who scored 16 goals in the Premier Leaguefor Bournemouth last season. Why?

I wouldn't be estatic at Josh King, but surely he'd be better considering he'd have PL experience and decent stats from last season.

Listen up!
Something has come to light which will please the BSoDL. We have a tight promise agreement with the bank, on managing our spend. This goes back 5 years. This is the reason we got finance for the stadium. To keep it silly simple; there are valid reasons for 'net spend'. It is a very careful
balancing act, and I for one have given our Daniel silent stick for the way he deals.

Told next season will see us change this approach, and onwards and upwards.
Yay bank ITK (y)

He will just be the next Michu, Bony the list goes on. I don't think he would see much game time either just my opinion. On the other people we are linked with I'd be delighted with Barkley, Foyth and Aurier.

If we end up with just Sanchez, Foyth, Aurier and Barkley (Selling Walker, Wimmer and loaning CCV and KWP) I think we'll still be better off than last season. Any more than that will be a bonus. I would rather just get Sessegnon than King and play him as a wing forward though tbh.

Still room for a surprise on deadline day. It really could go either way at this point. As we stand right now it hasn't been a great window but could all change in 6 days. It's nearly Levy time :nailbiting:

How long before we see a new member called Stuproh I wonder. Maybe in the next window.

And N'player will just go on to be the next N'koudou, N'jie, Boufal, etc.
