Everton are probably trying to push Barkley to Chelsea... If he is set on us though, it's a dangerous play.

Interesting, I could see Everton trying to persuade Barkley to go there him refusing and then last minute Levy gets a call. From all the ITK it sounds like everything is agreed with the player and maybe we have an agreement with Everton if they can't persuade him?

True but give him some credit his statement said as much and he hasn't had the chance to walk the walk

Yup, read the statement a bit too quickly and missed the " ... off the pitch" bit. Really hope he's learnt a lesson from the experience and looking forward to seeing him perform.

Donated, new member, found you yesterday and I think you've ruined my girlfriend's holiday. I've told her she can have me back tomorrow. Fortunately the Italian heat is making her sleep a slot!

Agree with most, RB it wouldn't surprise me either way, Everton seem to want too much for a man who can walk away in a year, but Would be classic DL to walk away and try again later.

Really happy with SA, pretty happy with FL, would prefer VC went out on loan because he has glimpses of being a player. Not sure where this pace is coming from, but we live in hope. COYS!

(Crap she's coming back from the sea, best sign off)

Yeah, it was said yesterday. It was us, West Ham and Juventus that wanted Gomes on loan
One of these things is not like the others. I wonder if our interest in Gomes is genuine, or if it's just posturing in the Barkley negotiations?

Why are we allowing media reports in here? Same difference, really. Media reports are just as far fetched as that discussion in the realm of something called an "itk thread"

I think the bigger question is why are we allowing you to continue to post? I'd be counting my lucky stars if I were you.

Perhaps send us all pictures of her in her bikini so we can be sure you are genuine

Why would Everton want Chelsea over us?
They are trying to keep him and get him to sign a new contract after the window closes imo

It's quite possible that we're refusing to budge on our evaluation and Chelsea's is higher than ours...

Mate reckons if Barkley doesn't happen today it doesn't happen at all, but I think/hope that is just opinion on his part.

It would make sense. If he stays another year and does well, he'll likely get far more lucrative offers than ours.

Just been listening to the On the Continent pod, and apparently Lucas Moura, Di Maria and Pastore aren't looking for moves because their wives are currently pregnant.
