It's not necessarily he'd have more lucrative offers, I think it's more everything coming to a head with Koeman, knowing he won't play too much and believing that Poch/us are his best bet of getting in form and going to the WC in Southgate's mind as a starter.

If we don't sign him can see him knuckling down at Everton and perhaps staying for the long term, and I think Trix alluded to this earlier?

I don't care either way on Barkley. He's fine, and I think Poch would improve him but I think whoever comes in, in that position, is just there to put pressure on Eriksen.

It seems clear that all most of us think we need, and also what Poch clearly wants, is a paceman who will play regularly in our first team as a WF.

I am really, really impressed if that option still exists today and we have all of the leaks plugged.

Back on some of the RB posts, saw it earlier and again now but it makes basic sense, if he doesn't sign today, he has to get football to get into the WC squad so he will swallow his pride and sign back on with the toffees. Probably agreeing he will get sold next summer with the price being astronomical.

I think if he dont move today he is left with no choice but to sign a contract or sit with the reserves.in a WC year i think pressure would be on him to sign.just hope we can get it over the line.
