If we let Barkley go to Chelsea that will be a travesty.

I understand waiting; but only if it results in us still getting him or getting a better option.

As it stands, if the rumours of him going to Chelsea are right, that'll massively take the shine off an otherwise progressive window

The difference in what we were willing to pay for Barkley and the 30 million might just be worth it in order to announce a double signing of Barkley and Llorente. That would really wind up Conte and fans.

I just wonder how Poch is going to feel about all this, supposedly he has been wanting a wide forward and Barkley more then anything. Can't imagine he will be very happy about the way this seemes to have played out.

I wouldn't rule out a new contract at Everton personally....although I'd fucking love it if we were pulling the strings on this one.

Just get Barkley. If i recall correctly, his contract and medical already done?

If so, lets get it done and pay the fee. If we wait til Jan, so much can happen that we could miss out.
