Night All - Lessons Learnt!!

Llorente will be announced at some point over next few hours but all done, I think I am more frustrated by the hope we had.... didn't expect much, get the hope and then nothing.

We are where we are, nothing changes now until next summer - nothing will happen in January we know that so see you all again next August, where I'm sure it be the same old story

All you can ask from a transfer window is to be stronger come the end of it.

We are.

We've upgraded Wimmer and Janssen, and swapped Walker with a player of similar ability, but zero Prem experience.

We're stronger, but marginally so.

Take a look at City, Liverpool and Utd - three teams who we finished above in the last two seasons - and they appear to have strengthened significantly.

I guess time will tell whether that will be borne out in league table at the end of the season, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us finish below all three come May.

This window has been decent in my opinion. Maybe a few contracts to be renewed by some of our current squad and Barkley coming in January would leave us in good shape. COYS

I think we have done some great business in defence, both Aurier and Sanchez are great signings and hopefully Foyth will also be.
Quite disappointed attacking wise. I thought we needed a different option to Kane which Llorente isn't really and also Balde would've been perfect

He's talking about the fact that ITK has said that Pochettino wanted RB and he also wanted an attacker with pace.

So far this hasn't happened.

Looking likely that it won't happen at this late time.

Maybe he needs to manage his expectations.

Too tired to work it out but seems like our net spend is nearly zero again? We are frustratingly efficient at that

One day, in some distant future, we will bring in a fast, wing forward that can dribble, creat and score. It might not be in my lifetime, but it will happen. I believe.

On a side note, nice job everyone here, been fun for the most part. Can't help but feel a little underwhelmed, but this is Spurs after all, shouldn't really expect us to sort out all our problems.

no need to remind most of you that the FA is allowing extensions until 1am given the submission of a statement of intent before the window closed...

Well played Spurs Community, it's been an entertaining day - fair play to the mods for keeping it sensible and all the posters for making me laugh out loud more than I should :)

I know I shouldn't be, but I am disappointed.

Wanted pace and wanted a game changer.

I'm sure I'll feel better soon enough.
