sisoko's best game for us.....away at Real Madrid.......please explain

He is in good shape now, he missed the preseason last year and couldn't run for more than 10 minutes. So he would just stand at the right side of the pitch and lose the ball, now he can actually run and change positions. Also he and Aurier have good chemistry.

Wish Eriksen had pulled it together, was the only poor performance today. If he had been on point I think we might have won.

Also, I want to say, Sissoko was different class tonight, that was the first time he looked like a footballer and if he plays like that in the PL there is hope for him yet, honestly, very composed and worked the channels, honestly that was just a great team performance overall.

Now you see it!

I did say it was going to be a slow burner for people to actually realise that he is an asset to this team, he just needed more game time and confidence.

Time to hand Poch that 10 year deal.

Just hope we aren't to thrashed now to deal with pool as that was a mammoth effort

The fact that we ended the game with a midfield of Sissoko, Winks and Rose shows what a master Poch is - it's all about the system, the organisation and the work rate.. the players in the shirts are less important.

He’s improving all the time and Madrid left us plenty of space to play. He’s also one of the most experienced players in the squad.

He’s never going to be a silky footballer, but maybe he’s got a bit more about him than we thought, especially character wise.

He seemed to respond to the occasion, as opposed to Eriksen who shit himself.

COYS !!! You have made us all proud tonight, what a performance, we weren't overawed at the best of the best. We could not have wished for more when you combine this with the result from the APOEL game. Fantastic night !!!

Could have won that 3-1... any other game and Harry's putting that in the bottom corer, and Eriksen's hitting the inside of the net instead of the outside.

Poch is a boss, but I think he leaves his subs too late.
You realise both chances you refer to were fantastic saves by Navas right? Kane's especially was going in. Yes I agree that we could've scored both but Navas made two stunning saves and Hugo made the same.

Kane's was a great save but I still can't help but think he should have scored.

Whereas they strolled to a 7-0...

Think we'll be fine as it's on Sunday. Plenty of recovery time.
