Our central midfield is genuinely awful, it has been outright negligence from the club to allow the problem to fester for so long without ever addressing it in the transfer market.

Our weakness in that area has been papered over a bit by the emergence of Winks and the emergence deployment of Sissoko as a No. 8, bit we never ever ever should have allowed ourselves to be so dependent on the form of Dembele who has very obviously been declining physically for some time now. Negligence.

We’ve been properly schooled today. Lucky not to be down to 9 players as well. Yeah we’re playing a state sponsored team but I’d hope Poch set us up better than this. Too many of our players just aren’t on form this season either. Forget this one and move on.

I have turned off now. Not because MC are better than us, they're winning by 2 and I can't see us scoring AT ALL.

No, because the commenters are so obviously Anti-us (this is on TNS1) and were probably sucking off Pep at HT.

Not gonna get the old Dembele back are we.
We have the old Dembele back. We have the one who played for us the first two seasons when he looked like a carthorse. Then he started to play and I believe that was all down to him being at his peak fitness. He is now permanently injured and therfore always a liability. It's just that we don't have any central mudfielders

Gutless, just goes to show how much Toby holds this team together. Even when he’s not at his best, players around him feel more comfort. It’s so blatant to see. And brand dele can fuck right off.

Trippier should never play against teams with actual wingers. Every time he’s up against a capable left winger, he ends up looking absolutely fucking turd.
To compound it, he didn't put Lamela in front of him.

One of many tactical errors in this game.

Alderverield won't sign a new contract hope I'm wrong. He is class he wants to win things he's 28. He won't be winning things at Spurs. The difference between a Pep, Conte Mourinho they don't care about appeasing players it's all about the Team and work rate. They would of taken Winks and Trippier off at half time if even earlier. That's the difference for Poch has not got a plan B and the minerals to change it effectively. He's been there 2/3 yrs we've won nothing, played amazing in champions league but that's not a trophy. The wage structure at the club is shocking. I fear by the summer a lot of the players I.e Rose, Dier and Ali will be gone by the start of next season and Toby because they can get treble there wages and a chance of trophies else where. And Pochs interview on sky yesterday didn't go down well with me. I fear regression once again hope I'm wrong everyone keep your chins up COYS

F##k me, it's hard to after reading that!

Kyle Walker-Peters wouldn’t be any worse than Trippier today. Call me deluded but I rather give him game time than Trippier
