Amazing how many people have picked wanyama, he was absolutely woeful last night, probably the worst player on the pitch.people picking him on last years form maybe? Looks miles away from that player currently to me.at most he must be 50% fit and would be very shocked if he started over dier

I think it is fair to say Poch would like to see your first team also. , but if they ain’t fit the ain’t fit! What can you do? People make it sound like he chooses to put out a weaker 11 when he has a choice, I think we all know that’s not true. However I hope THAT team is available soon and add Rose into that, fully fit we can beat anyone

While Wanyama has been woeful so is Dier in last 2 games. I will be surprised if Wanyama starts ahead but IMO to win against United we may need him.

Totally agree and I think you can say the same of Toby, Lamela and Rose when he is back. We have had key players out injured and they won’t just come back into the team in top form. Timing not with us, we have 3 very tough games but I think whoever you see on the team sheet it won’t be a 100% fit or in top form 11. I think we are looking at another month or so and top 4 could be all but over if results don’t go our way during this crucial period.

Seeing people put dier at cb just makes me chuckle. Total liability and effortlessly turned by attackers.

Correct but seems to think hes andrea pirlo on the ball since moving into cm. Gets caught out too easy and has been poor this season.
He needs bringing down a peg or two. Constantly making stupid errors leading to chances for opposition. Id much prefer verts and sanchez in a flat 4 and wanyama at cm

Yes his first season in the pl as a cb. My point is that dier is a liability at cb. Just look at the big games guys, v united he was at fault for martial goal as v city the last goal was an embarrassment to totally miss the ball like that. Even yesterday everytime he tried to clear the ball he scuffed it, sliced it ect.
Martial and sanchez will ruin him. People totally overrate him.

Diers fault? Personally I put that goal off a combination of Dier & Verts.

My point is Sanchez has been ruined by a lot of strikers so far this season while we’ve seen Dier play very well last season in that position.

There’s really not much in it by playing either ( personally I’d go back 3 with both and Verts ) in this game.
