Thinking back I'd say only Rondon roughed him up a bit, edged perhaps in one or two cases. But overall I'm really pleased with how he's doing. Back to your word ruined- by who, in which games?

Btw Abraham, Rondon, Richarlison. Alexis all run Sanchez ragged of the top of my head.
This is nothing against Sanchez as I understand he’s very young in a new league and on the whole done pretty well but for someone to laugh at someone for putting Dier like Sanchez has been world clsss needed to be addressed,
For the United game id actually use both in a back 3 with Waynama holding,

Irrespective of what you meant to say initially it's now perfectly clear you think Alexis and a handful of others have ruined or run Sanchez ragged already this season. I think you're talking complete sh&t so it's probably better we leave it there.

Tbf our Sanchez handled Alexis very well, was probably the only one of our lot who came out of the game with credit. Rondon however did ruin him.

Would love to see this. Alli for me needs to be influencing more. I can see him being able to do more of that from CM and leave beating his man to Son and Lamela

Which to be fair is a really fucking good line up.
Considering 7 of them didn't even start against Newport, I can't imagine them to be too mentally damaged.

He was outstanding that game was a great battle with Alexis, even my Gooner bro in law who I watched that game with raved about him during and after it.

And yet youre ignoring that he was the best defender on the pitch across the two legs with Ream Madrid, and has put in plenty of good performances this season, and the last couple of years besides. For some reason it always happens with the discussion around Dier, but i always laugh when people like you regularly ignore his excellent games and myopically fpcus on the small mistakes.
Sanchez has made plenty or errors and had plenty of poor games this season, especially up against pacy player of a lesser quality than Sanchez. For example he struggled against Shane fucking Long. Yet for some reason it's only Dier, and to a lesser extent Dele, who get their smallest errors picked out and scrutinized and their good performances ignored.
Dier has been much better than Sanchez this season, who has still been pretty good for his first season.
