While trying to keep on topic with the itk, I think zaha would be a fantastic signing and someone we have needed for a couple of seasons now, he offers pace while having the ability to stretch teams as well beating his man which we struggle to do when we have teams parking the bus, only Dembele stands out to me as a player in our starting 11 that consistently beats his man and open the door for others.

I just hope poch ends up happy with what he gets this window and feels backed/promises which were given have been delivered.

Will be interested to see who this third player we are after is as doesn’t sound like it’s a name that’s been well mentioned

Very curious as to who the other forward option would be with Martial and Pulisic finally confirmed to be out. Have not been any ITK on other targets that I can think of. Does homegrown factor come into play? I cant imagine the other target would cost the same or more as Zaha.

Sounds like Levy has to decide whether to pay up and give Poch what he wants or go with the cheaper option and hope for best. We've seen this story before. I dont know if Zaha is worth 50-60 mill but they couldnt get Poch's first option in Martial so IMO they should just pay up for Zaha and let Poch work his magic.

No, he knows the short coming of the team and knows that Zaha can fill that remit. It won't be just purely his opinion too, he would have spoken to players (our defenders, etc), other coaches, scouts, our data analysis team.

Lastly, who at this point can we viably get??

Zaha would be an good addition to the team but not a marquee signing. Hopefully thats in the Cm departement.

Must say it continues to unnerve that central midfield is still up in the air. Lot of pressure on Winks as it stands.

I think Zaha is a great player but I do worry about his injury record.

The most important signing is a CM of real quality.

If we get both of these then we will have a good season, although I think we would still struggle to get a trophy.

Wow, that’s crazy. He’s certainly not the best wide player in the league. He’s not really a winger, more a wide forward. I wouldn’t even put him ahead of Son. He must really love him for some reason.

I guess it's maybe that Poch can see how he would fit into how he wants to play. Seeing him as "the best" could be down to the context that he's looking at him in.

Thanks for all the ITK Herc.

Sounds very much like decisions need to be made and soon, which I hope end up being very positive for us. Shocked to hear that they are waiting to hear back on (an)other player before making a move on Zaha, would think that, that player is the same calibre as Zaha.

Anyway, here is hoping the positivity flows from here on out! :)

Why though? Amongst better players in more space the guy will be deadly. I don't understand why people are so anti Zaha. Literally offers something completely different to what we have. Also I think Pochettino our best manager for decades deserves his chance to sign his favourite player in the AM position. I personally think there are better but if Pochettino wants him then I will give him the benefit of the doubt on this one
