Hope he gets sacked after a terrible start to the season for them. Topped off by us smashing them 6 nil and sealing his fate!

The worst thing about this is that he’s feeding the fans. To the arsehole fans that gave a million reasons why they lost in the final, this is confirmation to them that everyone and everything was against them, because Klopp said so.

He called Bale’s goal lucky. What a thunder****.

I always used to like watching Klopp being interviewed when he was at Dortmund but I didn’t know too much about him. Since he’s come here he’s getting worse and worse and almost becoming a parody of himself. His rants have been cringeworthy and I’m now of the opinion they’re suited to each other. There’s no doubting he’s a good manager but either he’s a bit more of a cock than I always thought he was or he’s caught the Liverpool cock-bug since he’s joined.

I’m almost certain it’s the latter.

He's definitely a Trump-esque thunder****. Happy to say absolutely anything.

Watching the United game they really are quite predictable. If you close off the space for them to run into they are devoid of any creativity in midfield. Can Keita bring that, not really sure he seems another hustle bustle type player.

Nice goal by Shaqiri

As long as he only scores 3 of those a season and does bollock all in the meantime, I’ll be happy. Great squad player though, I know there were a few dead against signing him but having him on the bench is a great option.

Where did he say that?

However, the introduction of Gareth Bale from the substitutes' bench by Zinedine Zidane; whose stunning bicycle kick and long-range effort proved the difference between the two sides, was, according to the German, the main difference in the tie.

"I’d love to say ‘no’," Klopp responded to the club's official website's question regarding whether Real Madrid's ability to bring on the Welshman was a significant factor. "But he was very decisive obviously, especially with the bicycle kick – it was a fantastic goal, an unbelievable goal.

“In a final you need to have a bit of luck and we didn’t have it. They had luck in different situations and we didn’t. They scored a bicycle kick, come on! We all know [Gareth] Bale can do that but he probably put more balls from that situation in the stands than in the goal. If that’s not luck then I don’t know what is. Then the situation around Loris.”

So when somebody does something brilliantly skilled it is luck unless they can do it every time?
Not on scouseworld.

You have to be wearing a pool shirt for it not to be luck, then it’s the hours of practice that means it’s not lucky...

Which, of course, no one else does.

The smugness is excruciating. There really is something about them completely different from any another club and I find it repugnant.
