He is doing awesome at the moment
Question is, if a team from abroad, say psg, came in and put £80m on table for him would you take it?
Yes.

Modern day fans have no grey area. You are either great or shit, no inbetween.
They shouldnt get away so easily. Can the mods please hand out a 2 week ban to all of the posters above?Memories that can now be laid to rest!!
Harsh. Last couple of games he's shown some great footwork when dribbling and, more importantly, some real awareness and incisiveness with his passing.
Pretty sure he's going to be an expensive mistake, but I never failed to be sickened by the gleeful 'I told you so' comments on this site, as if posters feel that their oracle like football foresight has been validated.
I for one hope he turns it around and takes a celebratory shit on each of your mums' heads!
That failing, I hope we claw our money back/ swap him for Barkley.
He was part of a central 3, right sides with Pogba left sides and Matuidi in the middle, and he did look very good.
I don't think he's going to succeed with us and this season has been a disaster, but he's a better player than we've seen.
well then he played rw very badly considering he spent the whole time bombing down the middle.
Yesterday he did exactly what Essien used to do for Mourinho. There's a use for it and if it becomes a viable option in certain situations it will be an improvement on last season. I wouldn't want him there against our top 4 rivals but against lesser sides who set up to spoil he has a use as possession becomes less important. He offers the thing that Dembele doesn't in that respect.
Yes but I'm the context of yesterday, Sissoko played as a box to box midfielder, a remit you would never give to Son. There were only to spots for Son in yesterday's tactic, they were occupied by Dele and Kane. Winks could have played in Sissokos place but again, he'd have been more suited to Eriksen's role. Dembele was the player who Sissoko played in place of, I imagine because we need to nurse him through a season and he'd just played to games for Belgium and will start v Dortmund.
So if Kane scores two goals but misses two sitters, the two goals don't count?
He’s turned into Zokora, which is fine when he’s a second choice player, there’s a use for the athletic foot soldier.
Would make sense for a lot of clubs outside the top 6. 28 years old, strong, fast, tall, athletic, very premier league experienced and also an experienced international with a top nation. Can play box to box or out wide and is good at dragging the ball up the pitch. Also see’s a lot of ball and doesn’t give it away, albeit is unadventurous with it. For a safety first side, an experienced athletic French international in his prime who works his arse off and rarely loses possession could be the difference between competing or not in the games v the top 6. Hell, Mourinho has always had a Sissoko type in his squads.
With the exception of mainly Everton, I could see Sissoko improving the first team at every side from Burnley down in last year’s table.
Sissoko is our fifth choice central midfielder and our sixth choice attacking midfielder. That means that for five positions, he is our tenth choice player. And thank god he is, because our injury problems in those areas have been horrible this season, disproportionately so.
No he fucking hasn’t, he’s been ridiculed and derided constantly. The woman behind me literally shouts ‘no no no’ when she spots him getting ready to come on and abuses his every touch.
Maybe not that part of his post but everything else @Ben1 saya is completely true:
Maybe, just maybe, players perform better when they start matches regularly, in the same position and with the same role.
No, that’s madness, he’s shit and the recent form is the result of voodoo.
His recent performances are reminiscent of a peak Essien. Driven, aggressive, demanding.
If you’re at the matches, you, along with many others, are a dreadful waste of a seat that could go to good supporter. Seriously, what the fuck is this? Other than after the final whistle of a genuinely horrendous collective performance, when is it ever acceptable to get on players’ backs? The answer is never. If you disagree you shouldn’t be allowed within a mile of the ground on matchdays.
Today he was like Essien at his very best for Chelsea, or better praise, Sissoko from Euro2016. Great performance, his turnaround combined with Winks continued improvement makes the inevitable loss of Dembele for free next summer seem rather unconcerning.
Memories that can now be laid to rest!!
I stand by that comment. At the time his touch and vision was shocking. Now it’s nowhere near as bad so happy days. If he goes back to being awful I’ll say as much. If he carries on like this I’ll praise him.
There’s a bit of a difference between criticising a player on here and booing one in a stadium. Unless you think Sissoko is trawling through this thread?
The thing that is interesting though is professional footballers don’t learn the basics of the game in such a short space of time.
Any ability Sissoko is showing now he already had.
It has to be other factors in place.
To be fair he’s still not great technically but his general all round confidence has improved massively which means he’s effecting games in a positive way a lot more now and, most importantly, on a consistent basis. This means his technical inefficiency is noticed less. I guess the term is “a confidence player” and it’s great to see him play with some now but I’m not going to sit here and say I think he’s an amazing player coz I don’t think he is. He’s in the form of his life and is really contributing to the team and I hope that continues for as long as Dembele is out.
I have no problem with you not rating. I didn’t and still think he has his limitations.
Rather than having the normal slinging match of outing people for not rating a player I thought I would discuss your post on why he is now performing better.
I remember at the beginning he mentioned his fitness was not to Poch’s level.
I also think he is a very good ball carrier so with Dembele there was less need for him.
I think Poch used him to play deeper and cover the wide areas when our full backs get forward.
This is a thankless task and one no one will shine in.
So I have no problem with anyone not rating him.
Just happy that we have finally found a role for him where he thrives.
Fast becoming a club legend, and I hope all who slated him are currently enjoying horseshit sandwiches.

One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is he plays like a leader now. The confidence has him pointing at and yelling at everyone to get into positions or pointing out passes. Happy for him
I completely agree but if you turn up at a club for £30 million and are on £80k a week then fans are quite right to expect you to be able to trap a ball first time, control a football and be able to pass it to a teammate 5 yards away with no pressure on him from an opposing player.
I’ve absolutely nothing to apologise for berating a player on SC for that and neither should anyone else who complained about him for these things.
He appeared to be an athlete rather than a footballer. Nobody can despite that. But also nobody can dispute that both the player and coaching team deserve a massive pat on the back for turning into the player we’ve seen in the last month. Hopefully he can keep it up.
