There's going to be carnage anyway because "we risked our players and didn't play youth"..
TBH I'm not sure I've ever seen that. One or two FM-istas moaning about it maybe :p The only way we will pick youth players is if literally everyone else is injured. Get through this and we'll have a few back for the next round, we could go on a run. I can't see people really seriously wanting youth players picked and the tie thrown away.

I'd totally prioritise the Watford game.

Wrap Rose up in Cotton wool, we seriously need his drive and determination in the coming weeks.

Llorente needs more minutes though.

Gazza

Trippier
Sanchez
Foyth
KWP

Dier
Skipp

Lucas
Lamela
Nkoudou

Llorente

Since we're out of the first of 3 cups, I don't think that Poch is resting anyone. We're playing again on Wednesday. Plenty of time to rest

It's not really, particularly when your squad is stretched to the limit.

I agree with you but to be frank, Poch knows that the title race is over and he/us are desperate for a medal, so we're not throwing in Sterling, Skipp, Amos etc. against Crystal Palace to have a go because the squad is jaded

imo there's gonna be some rotation from the squad that played Chelski last night, but not much

I don't believe that...

This season, going into the new stadium, DL ,Poch and alot of fans would take CL football next season above the FA cup.

As would i.

Agreed. Hopefully palace will be concentrating on premier league points, and not take it seriously.

I don't see why Palace would rest that many. They have a great chance of beating us with our injuries and just a couple of days after the last game.

I have a Palace supporter at work and he thinks they'll go almost full strength on Sunday, says they don't really have a squad to rotate if they wanted to.

Tough call for Poch. I'm sure the players will be desperate to go deep in another competition and therefore want to play, but it's clear everyone is being stretched to the limit with all these muscle injuries.

Either way I hope we can put in a big performance and get through, and hopefully get a kinder draw in the next round.

I'd probably go

Gazza

Toby (Foyth if Toby is in the red zone)
Sanchez
Verts

KWP (or Trippier for crossing)
Sissoko
Dier
Winks
Rose

Llorente
Moura (threat in behind)

Lamela or Wanyama to come in if Sissoko can't make it.

I don’t care if we get knocked out, we need to protect key players like Eriksen, Jan, Toby etc. We can’t afford to lose more players to injuries.

WTF WHY IS EVERYONE SAYING WE SHOULD PUT OUT A SHIT TEAM

This is literally our only opportunity at achieving something tangible this season.

Hopefully keep it tight and then bring Llorente on, don't think he can do another 70 mins or so maybe 30, bring Winks on too eventually.

Depends how you define tangible. For the club's owners/ leadership, top 4 and CL qualification trumps everything else.

I get that but most people in this thread aren't owners/leaders of the club. I think.
