Few did it seems. Looks like one of those players who’s stayed patient and waited for the manager to take a chance a him, like Rice and Wan-Bissaka to a degree.

Looks like he has a dig on him too...

I’d take Lascelles as well to be honest.

Yeah if Toby leaves that’s who I’d like I think he’s quality. Quick and strong as fuck and can play. Doubt he would cost a great deal more than the 25 million we’d get for Toby

I don't mind being laughed at but Neal Maupay is (my onion) a talent. I'd like Spurs to take a look at him, thing is he plays for Brentford, is that cool?

Flog Aurier (then sell him :cautious:). If someone wants Trippier, and if he wants to go (or Poch wants him gone) sell him too.

Use the funds raised, to buy a quality young RB, and then pick up Valencia from United on a free.

Yeah I'll get mocked but, although he's 33, he's still better than the 2 we'd have sold (and I'm one who likes Trippier). I can't think of a more stereotypical Poch type player. He's strong, he's fast, he does have ability, and he gets up & down that line none stop.

Go ahead. Mock away.

He’s shit and if we signed him now, he’d be fourth best RB at the club, fifth if you count Toby, sixth if you count Dier.

I’ve never seen a worse suggestion, it shows a limited knowledge of football, or implies that you stopped watching it 5 years ago.

Think before you post next time, it’s embarrassing. It’s even embarrassing for me, having to reply to such absolute nonsense.

Get outta here, scram.

Saw that Napolis president came out and basically admitted they were trying to get Pablo Fornals and Hirving Lozano. Those are exactly the types of players we should be all over and would likely be fairly affordable. Probably 60mil total for the two of them.

Frustrating!

And yes, I'm still bitter about missing Fabian Ruiz as well.

Just to add more fuel to fire. BALE was whistled at today and news outlets saying they want him out of Madrid. No one shook his hand or clapped him from the bench when subbed...

The Mirror are way ahead of you citing (tomorrows sport section) the use of Bale to get Eriksen - it's totally happening.

Haha never. I watch a lot of their games and am dreaming so let me be :X3::happy:
Loved Bale but you never go back to the ex after they left you for someone else. Bale coming back would be nice but he ain't coming back because he loves us. We'd just be the thing he settles for now and his attitude would reflect it imo.

Will probably be competing with bigger clubs with deeper pockets, but I think we should seriously think about making a move for the young Palace RB.

Could Rique Puig be back on the radar do we reckon? Now that's a player I'd love to see strutting his stuff at the new stadium. What an outstanding young prospect.

Speaking of which, Carles Alena or Dani Ceballos anyone?

Ok so as it stands with 10 games left of the season

No new contract for Vorm = leaving

No new contract for Llorente = leaving

No contract extension for Toby, £25m release clause kicks in = leaving

No new contract extension for Eriksen = 1 year left = leaving

Janssen = if he stays he's a burden, best for both parties he leaves

Nkoudou = see what is written about Janssen above.

We have 2 expiring contracts, 1 release clause kicking in, 1 with 12 months left of his current deal who would have to get sold and 2 clearly surplus to requirements that offer nothing should they stay. 6 players whereby if things stay how they are and have done for the past 12 months we'll have very little choice other than to say adioski to them.

I sincerely hope Wanyama isn't done but if we look at his last 700 calendar days it doesn't look very promising does it?

Regarding the right back area I think you're probably correct but do you honestly see this as not being an area that drastically needs at least one upgrade?

It's all speculative but at present, 6 look more likely to leave than stay wouldn't you agree? That's without taking into consideration required upgrades or wasteful squad space in midfield that's been taken up for the last couple of years

if Toby and Eriksen don't sign new deals, there is no guarantee they will still be leaving. Levy can accept as many offers he wants, but if the players don't want to go we could have them see their contracts run out and go for free (same situation as Jan).

I wouldn't be shocked if Wanyama went under the knife the minute the season finished in hope of solving his injury.

I also won't be shocked if we don't do anything with our FB's, though possibly Aurier might want out. I agree Trippier hasn't had a very good season, but to be honest there are a lot that haven't mainly those that haven't really had a summer off

Granted each on the highlighted list could stay but there'll be plenty of interest in Alderweireld at £25m and with Eriksen being one of our most valuable assets, with the stadium etc I'd be astonished if we didn't sell with one year left on his contract.

If we can get a fully fit Wanyama I'd keep him absolutely but at the moment the big man looks a shadow of his former self. Our FB areas could easily see no change but I do see Vorm, Alderweireld, Wanyama, Eriksen, Nkoudou, Janssen & Llorente looking more likely to leave than stay. It's a big number but if you had to put money on each individually as it stands I'd back them all to be closer to the door than closer to having their feets firmly under the table for another season at least. Just saying it how I see it

if RM or Barca or whatever club it is Eriksen has his dream set on doesn't come in for him, and the way he has been playing lately I'd ask why they would, then he might just decide to stay

if Janssen and N'Koudou go, it won't even really be noticed as neither have really been involved.

if Toby wants £175k a week and no one offers it, he might decide to stay and see his contract out. we can't force him to leave even if 20 clubs put in a bid of £25.

I agree that hoping for more than 4-5 players out in the summer would be unrealistic. Have to prioritize. The players id say are more or less definite to go would be; Janssen, Vorm, Nkoudou and Toby. With some luck we could hopefully flog one of Aurier/Trippier and Wanyama. I would never expect more than maximum 3 players in.
