Also I was a little underwhelmed in the summer with the links to Grealish, however I actually hope we go back in for him now. He just looks like the sort of player I imagine Poch could do a whole lot with.

N’dombele, Grealish, Brooks, Lascelles, and hey it’s a wishlist isn’t it, let’s just chuck Bale in there too.

I really think we'll go for Sessengon in the summer and I'd be quite happy with that. His stock is going to be lower and he'll be great to rotate with Rose at LB/LWB. He'd also get minutes further up the pitch.

FB options for next season Davies, Rose, Sessengon, KWP, Wan-Bissaka.

If we're going for a squad overhaul I think there will be an emphasis on players already in the EPL. We know how slowly Poch tends to integrate and if we're looking at numerous changes I think we need to keep that time to an absolute minimum. Ideally we'd be bringing in some quality from abroad but I doubt we'll have the necessary time. Maybe an early deal for somebody like Berge or Rabiot (optimistic), but I think most will be EPL ready. I'd love FBs like Telles, Grimaldo or Meunier but don't really have much hope.

What do we think of Ward-Prowse, Redmond and Gunn at Southampton? Always thought JW-P was someone who was great at set pieces but not much else, however he seems to have stepped up this season. Gunn looked fantastic against Utd yesterday, not at fault for any of the goals imo. Redmond has always been highly touted, a bit more productivity could see him be a better player! Would prefer either Zaha or King though if we were going for that sort of player!

Poch would know WardProwse quite well, I would be happy to sign him

Apart from Gunn as a backup, which I don't think he'd be up for, I don't think W-P or Redmond are the quality we need to improve. Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea are starting to turn things around and we need to take a major step up to stay where we are.

Redmond certainly isn’t of the required quality.

Ward-Prowse is very talented but hasn’t performed consistently . If Poch can unlock his potential then he could be a good player:

I know some of us are being realistic but some of the names on here wouldnt take us to the next level in my opinion. Could we really go through another cycle where we potentially dont win much? I think this current team as is has reached its climax and needs a (not so significant or substantial) overhaul. By overhaul I mean three or four players perhaps even six if you factor in any departures which may well be a few.

It really is a crucial T junction summer and do think we will spend big particularly in light of the new stadium etc... however this kinda depends on the top four situation which is in serious danger.

I am not convinced “next level signings” are necessarily what we need.

Poch does extremely well at developing players and integrating them slowly.

The lack of recent signings means we have a lack of players ready to replace those who are shortly due to depart.

In centre back I think we are fine but are certainly short at full back, centre mid and an Eriksen replacement.

I think the most likely person to come in the summer to begin with is Ryan Sessegnon. I know it is rare we do early deals but I kind of hope Fulham are put out of their misery soon and we can get it done and get him in for the new season training.

May be harsh on Fulham (and I got a soft spot for them and rather see them In the pl than not) but they are good as much as down now.

Like to see Wan Bissaka in too but I think Steve Parish will levy us on that one. They got a genuine star on their hands and he ain’t going to go cheap

Thing is if we are willing to spend 40m on Sanchez then we should be willing to do so for Bissaka. We need to start being bold in first XI positions we need to improve. Happy to use youth to pad the squad but we need starting full backs and CM

Somebody in Italy is going to get a bargain for Rakitic in the summer. Not sure if he'd come to us, especially if we don't have Champions League football, but we definitely ought to be keeping up with it.

Do Leicester only have an option with tielemans

Don’t think they do, but with every game I see him play, it becomes more baffling why we didn’t go in for him...

Leicester have got some very good young players now and I would honestly take as many as 8 of their players in our squad...

Chilwell
Maddison
Ricardo Pereira
Tielemans
Maguire
Barnes
Gray
Ndidi

I think parish most certainly will he went public on us trying to lowball them for zaha a few years back so I reckon he’d definitely try to take us to the cleaners on awb

If Toby and Eriksen leave, as seems likely, we're going to need one of the best transfer windows we've ever had in order to stand still.

How much have people seen of wan Bissaka to be so convinced by him. Must admit he still looks very raw to me, not completely convinced about him in possession, looks a bit uncomfortable on the ball at times, maybe just an ungainly style. Personally think for what he would cost it would be a big gamble.
