Yeah probably, was just dreaming.

My problem with Dier is that I can't see any progress in his game in midfield. He was ok with Moussa around him and Dele + Eriksen in form. But when they where having bad game - Dier was having bad game. IMHO he is too limited to play as midfielder.
In fairness to Dier his been playing injured most of the season and finally caught up with him. Dier is a unique player very underrated imo he is pivotal in the transition of formation.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. IMO it's all about what contingencies we have in place if we can't get our primary targets. For instance, I can well imagine we are very interested in N'Dombele, but he'll have clubs much bigger than us sniffing around. Same with Rabiot. If we can't get those deals done within a specific time frame, I'd rather we moved on to Diawara or Berge or somebody we could actually get over the line in time for pre season. We obviously thought we were in with a shout for deJong at one point, but once that started to look unlikely we could surely have secured somebody else instead of drawing a complete blank for the second window running.
I personally feel it's time for us to go get our primary target and if that's not possible we wait, there's no point going for seconds it's better imo to promote our development players instead.

Considering the potential losses of Toby, Eriksen, etc come August something like this would soften the blow:

Ins

Aarons - £20m
Andersen - £25m
Diawara - £30m
Grealish £15m
Lozano £35m

Total - £125m

———

Outs

Vorm - Free
Toby - £25m
Aurier - £15m
Wanyama - £15m
Lamela - £20m
Eriksen - £60m

Total - £135m

All of those are realistic, young and hungry players who would come in and complement the squad nicely.

He’s good. Him and Sommer would be at the top of my list.

Good enough to replace Lloris?
Well Lloris is turning 33 this yeas so he'll still have 2-3-4 years at the top but Spurs have to have an eye to the future.... Yet I doubt very much that Strakosha will come and sit on the bench...

Why is Grealish only £15m?

Genuine question; has he got a release clause?

I think last night highlights the importance to bring in a quality striker to play in tandem with, or replace Kane when he’s injured.

We really need more depth in this area and with games coming thick and fast we’re looking thin already!

RB, CM and replacing outgoings have been the focus but I really think we need to add quality cover for Kane into the equation now too.

What exactly is Son if he's not what you say we need?

Was more thinking of someone to replace Llorente who’s also dynamic like Son and can feature more as they can play more roles. Personally I think we could do with a touch more quality and depth, especially as Kane ankles are becoming a thing. If you’re happy with just Son then cool.

Werner/Zaha imo. Can both play striker/out wide.

When it comes to The Full backs from Norwich and Grealish ect, I think it will be the same as Sessegnon last year, if they get promoted think we will have to wait a season to sign them imo
