Yes but of course we can to some degree.... I'm not saying he would be bad, neither him or Gerrard have shown anything or much to suggest that they'd be bad in any way, for me I think it's just that they're both relatively new managers, so I'm not sure appointing one of them is the best option when we are looking to 'steady the ship'. Of course they'd be better than Nuno though, I'm not denying that.

Parker already knows the club from when he played here and worked with the youngsters. He knows what we as fans want and that is from my point of view the most important thing to steady the ship right now. What would you suggest?

I think we will really struggle to get a manager in a job - like ETH or Potter - if we try to make a change during November international break. We need to be assessing best options of the unemployed. Provided neither Conte nor Zidane can be tempted however, the pickings are slim.

We are shit at the moment but let's face it we are a damned sight more of a pull than Brighton
He turned us down during the summer and we are now an even bigger mess now and Brighton are doing brilliantly.
He would be mad to leave that to join us and levy. Plus a fact that a lot of people seem to ignore is that Paul Barber is at Brighton so likely he told Potter some truth about levy and what the club is like.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that unless you’re looking for a pay off. Whatever manager comes in will be coming into a shitshow where they will receive no backing. It’s guaranteed to end in tears. Not very attractive for a rising manager building a name for himself.

I don’t know if he is on his way out, 2 wins this week and it’s the international break.

I still feel Levy is waiting for Poch and won’t sack Nuno until absolutely no option

Love Poch but it wont work out this time imo. He wouldnt have prime Dembele, Eriksen, Walker, Toby, Jan and Rose for starters...

I don't think that's enough to succeed though. I'm not really sure as I think a manager for the now and future will be hard to come by midway through the season so there may be two piles of managers with different candidates to consider. The now and future and just the now. If it's someone just to cover I'm not massively bothered, so long as they tick a few particular boxes, but for the person who we see as being the long term successor, I'd want them to be able to say with confidence, and with a CV to back it up, that they will bring back an attractive and attacking style of play.

I couldn’t even give a fuck about trophies at this point. I’d just like supporting Spurs to not be a soul crushing affair again if at all possible.

So I don’t know. Just someone who can make this shit enjoyable again.

Hence pochettino. Never going to win anything under ENIC. Poch is the closest thing to family out there, I’d rather fail with him than anyone in the world.

Trouble is, that last year under Poch was rough except for the champions league run. That semi final win was honestly my happiest moment as a Spurs fan. But we can’t forget 12 months of no away wins or the dog shit diamond formation.

It was rough, compared to this it was bliss. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
