This is the first time I've felt genuine hope and excitement about the club since the CL final season.

I'm actually feverish to see things like starting line-ups, watch tactics closely, see how players adapt etc - all with a feeling I've missed for a long time - and actual expectation that we will see progress and improvement over a period of time, coupled with a real, genuine clear-out of the deadwood.

We won't be destroying teams immediately, it might take until next season to see a real Conte team, but there EXPECTATION is back...

Yeah I'm so excited to see a team with an actual clear, well-drilled system of passing where each player knows exactly what their role is and what they're supposed to do in each part of the pitch.

For the past 3 years almost all of our play has looked so devoid of structure in possession with us relying on long balls or individual brilliance rather than an actual coherent structure beyond the most simple passing moves.

Even under peak Poch - as great as we were - I'm not sure that's something we ever really had so I really can't wait to see a Spurs team play that style of football, even if it isn't exactly the most attractive, free flowing stuff.

Feel exactly the same. I had my life back under Nuno where I'd only have to suffer 90-180 minutes a week and then crack on with my life but now I'm back into constantly thinking about Spurs

Closing this.
