It’s a bit of a mess but then these deals aren't easy. I’m just Going to throw this out there. Especially on the back of Covid. Perhaps levy and co are more convinced of money coming back into the club now then they were in the summer. Perhaps they felt they couldn’t match his spending and conte said No. With football getting back to some sort of normalcy maybe they feel they now can. The manager appointments of various clubs across the premier league in the summer were odd.

not trying to be that guy but isn't this exactly what we said about mourinho when we were bringing him in? Don't get me wrong, I want Conte, he would light a fire under everyones ass but yeah we definitely have a super complicated situation right now in terms of squad turnover and unrest and supporters
