This is meant to be our escape from reality, our entertainment but Spurs really are the worst part of my week nowadays lol. I need to stay away from them for a while.
I hear you, but that feeling lasts until just before the next game where you tell yourself you'll just watch the first few minutes to see if there's any change to how they perform. Then you end up cussing your way through another 90+ minutes.

Was there today. Now got a 3 hour drive home.

That was so bad. We look utterly clueless. And I know we don't have the players but Conte has got it wrong the last 2 games.

The last few games show how much we miss Skipp and Dier. Without them the midfield is overrun and the defense is a bag of nerves.
More worrying in many ways though is Conte’s stubborn insistence in continuing to play with a midfield 2 especially without a recognized defensive midfielder. It’s not like we have to have Lucas in the team because he scores so many goals.

As many said after the last game I’d love to have Ward-Prose in a midfield 3 for us with Skipp and Bentancur. He works hard, closes down and is creative as well as chipping in with goals which is something we lack from midfield. At very least we’d have someone who can be effective at set plays. It’s embarrassing we have no one in the squad who can take a decent free kick.

Well that was just like the 90s. Honestly we all know the players that are not good enough. But as Trix says we are going to have to wait for the summer.
I’m certain we will have a better more balanced squad next season.
That really was a back to the 90's performance. There is so much work to do to this squad

Rodon must really be poor to not at least get a chance in this defence, I agree with others just bin off the majority of them and get some youth players in ?

As Conte himself has said on multiple occasions, it will take years and several transfer windows to get back to where we were under Poch. We aren't very good at that won't change next week, next month, or come the end of the season. If nothing else, accepting that fact will make these shit performances and results a little bit easier to stomach.
You would expect some improvement though wouldn’t you? We’ve done the clear out bit and now it’s time for the new team to emerge, but we’re getting worse. I get that he has his system and not all the players for it yet, but shouldn’t there be some learning shown?

There's no silver bullet. A lot of us said this when Jose was sacked. Too many mediocre or poor players. Will take at least another 3 transfer windows to sort out no matter who the coach is. Patience is the key.
Problem is we keep giving the same usual suspects a go with each manager

I don’t care how great a manager Conte is, the last two games, we have been overrun in midfield, crying out to play 5 instead of 4, if Conte can’t see that, then he isn’t as good a manager as everyone thinks, last two games has been his fault..

Such a disappointment. Really gutted that we can't ever exceed or even match expectations. There's such a systemic problem with our club. Really feels like time for change of ownership.
That's unlikely to happen after we just turned down 3 Billion.

It is entertaining, so long as you stop taking it all so seriously. It's a game. If you get so upset at losing a game that it ruins your mood for days on end, while wins are quickly forgotten, a) quit that game for now b) have a look at why you're so negative about things, because it probably isn't just football.

How bad our decision making has been last 5 years do you have any confidence we will get to where we were? I’m not even sure Conte will stay beyond this season, our strategy often seems to be what falls or doesn’t fall in our lap, I foresee nothing but another summer of excuses…
