We're not a good watch at the moment. We stutter around too much and don't really get a strong front foot period going for any length of time. I feel like Son and Kulusevski need to tuck in and become that creative midfielder when we're struggling to play the ball out and get upfield.

The results are fine, but we have plenty more in the tank to become a more dominant and feared side than we're currently showing.

I find it bizarre that some think we will perform like this for the rest of the season.

We won't. Players will find form and the new guys will have more of a part to play.

Very lucky to get a point from this game. West ham could have scored 3 more in the 2nd half. What do you guys expect from the game if the majority of our possessions and passes were in our own half. Expected Moyes stupid enough to play a high defensive line against the deadliest front 3 ?

Conte has to be creative then off the bench to try and manipulate a result - it doesn't necessarily mean we need a creative player but certainly a fucking plan B!

Spence would have given them something to ponder on the counter with his raw pace or drop Kane further back with Son and Richarlison in a 532 - just something to try and give us some impetus.

There's 5 sodding subs, use them!
This exactly what Conte needed to do... the last few games actually.

We ain’t catching Man City, they are a million miles ahead of us. They will have the league won by January. Arsenal haven’t had a test yet, and will drop off. I see us as the second best team in the league but we are miles away from city. Only chance of a trophy this season is a cup.
I'll have what ever and everything you taking :cautious:

Taking Kulu off instead of Sonny really messed us up

When you take everything into consideration it’s a great point tonight.

Bissouma got a silly yellow early as did Sanchez - so wasn’t easy with those 2 walking on eggshells for so long

Tough place to go and a great wake-up call for Bissouma- this isn’t a Mickey Mouse seaside resort with happy clappy atmospheres. Proper introduction of fire tonight for him and lots more of that to come - he’ll only get better
Rotation and player management.... & a hectic schedule coming up. Sonny and his form will only improve with time on the pitch.

I am so fed up with this type of football. Not really much different to Mourinho football. Our game plan is so negative. I can’t see this winning anything. I can’t see us improving either really because it is so easy to set up against us. West Ham aren’t great slightly worse than us!

These are such funny opinions to have after 5 games, and the people that agree with this rubbish - Get a grip

West Ham aren’t a bad side, anyone can beat anyone in this league.

We beat Southampton, we drew with Chelsea, Southampton beat Chelsea

Some players didn’t turn up like Yves but it’s probably just nerves, we look really dangerous on the counter.

We’re unbeaten and 3rd, the negativity is pathetic.

Disgraceful is the only word I can come with to describe that performance.
First half too slow, everyone needs 2 or 3 touches on the ball before they can make their mind up where to which because they are too slow means backwards.
Bissouma gets a needless yellow for dissent which limits his effectiveness.
Sanchez charges 20 yards to lunge in and foul Fornals (Why?) leaves a hole behind him which leads to Antonio hitting the post. He gets a yellow which means WH target him whenever Lloris passes out to him and Lloris being a complete bellend keeps passing to him putting us under needless pressure.
WH weren’t at the races in the first half but we didn’t seem to have the required desire or intensity to punish them. We let them off the hook.
If I thought the 1st half was bad then the 2nd was a nightmare.
For me it all began with Hojbjerg messing around about his broken boot. If your boot’s broken run to the sidelines and change it. His antics got the crowd going and then the WH players whilst our lot lost their focus(what little they had of it).
Enter Lloris with his Nightmare at the Olympic Stadium performance. World Cup winning goalkeeper with nearly 15 years experience at the top level and he can’t kick for shit even when not under pressure. Out for a needless throw in and EVERYONE switches off!!!!! Perisic turns his back on the thrower whose allowed to throw it straight to Antonio, a flick and an unmarked Soucez beats Lloris at his near post.
Not content with that cock up Lloris tries to gift them another goal a little while later. If I’d of been Conte I would have hooked him then for Forster.
It all went downhill from there. Our defense was a shambles not helped by Lloris continually putting us under pressure by trying to play out from the back and putting Sanchez under pressure.
I am amazed Conte only made one substitution to try and get some control of the game. You could have hooked any of them in that second half.
I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt this angry ?watching us play.

If I was a West Ham fan browsing this forum for gold, then I just found it.

We could be so much more with a bit more conviction.

This all too frequent passing the ball around the back trying to draw the opposition. It's fine if we are good enough to beat the invited pressure, but all too often we offer up the ball in our own third and gift the opposition at the least, a greater sense of belief.

Hopefully we can get back to seeing Spurs with a bit more verve.

Must admit since the opening game I think we have got progressively worse.
The team looks flat and lacking any ideas we have been lucky thus far not to have lost a game or two.
Last night if we had any notion of wanting to push city and Liverpool we have to put sides like this away.
I'm struggling to watch the team so far this year a tough watch really boring.
The side needs some attacking/creative spark and unfortunately it looks like we are not going to sort that out.

Right now, we do not appear to be the team everyone thought we would be.

We don’t need to be yet. It’s still August (well, not anymore, but you get what I mean…).

We’re 3rd in the league, unbeaten, have picked up a tonne of points at places we dropped them last season and have another gear or two to find. Time is on our side.
