Welcome to the PNE Vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!


We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

Gil - Richy - Son​

Including Lloris and Son so they can try and play themselves back into form. I will 'drop' Son for Richy in the next prem game vs City. He can come off the bench and score lol.

I want us to try Sanchez in the middle. Poch did it with Toby and Jan either side of him and it worked. Hopefully when he's in the middle he can just win headers and tackle. Those either side can do the passing through the wingbacks/midfield. Worth a try IMO.

I would like to us go strong, but I would also like to see some players like Sarr, Skipp, Gil, Spence and Richarlison get game time.

The players that deserve it rather than trying Sanchez and Tanganga again.

I understand the sentiment, but in recent seasons where we've rotated for cup games we've ended up getting burned pretty badly.

I agree, it's why I would keep a core of the team with only a few changes.

The players I mentioned, I wouldn't start them all, but I would look for them to get game time off the bench.

Do we start Bentancur and Kulusevski? Do they need match fitness.

Full strength. We have a week off after this game. Plenty of lower division teams left. We might just get lucky with the draw. As long as we get past Preston. They do play decent football but have lost 2 forwards to injury. Parrot cannot play . They started last game with Liam Delap(son of Rory) up front. He played with Scarlett in the England under 19 team.
