As I posted previously in this very thread, Porro’s arrival obviously does not equate to zero backing. But considering the squad was crying out for a GK, RWB, 2CBs and a playmaker in Jan it still represents the absolutely bare minimum of backing from Levy.
And I said already in this thread the idea that we would buy 5 players in January was always utterly fanciful. Chelsea just did it, because they have no plan, sense or budgetary constraints, but otherwise find me a top team who has bought more than 2 good players in a January window. I’ll wait

Not upgrading one CB position in Jan was beyond negligent though.

Interesting that Son saying on the official site that this game was the most important game of the season. Did anyone else think that?,
Personally I never though we'd win the CL this year so last Wednesday's match in Sheffield was well more important. Maybe that shows the disconnect between the club and the fans.

The OS is just club propaganda and don’t forget to swing by the shop and get some new blankets / sort of thing.

Yeah, like when we won the 1st leg 1-0 v Kaiserslautern, so for the 2nd leg, Graham drops Ginola, our only good attacking player, to go defensive and we lose 2-0. Those were the days.
I was at that game aged 11 in 1999. Those were the days 😂

No Manager on planet earth gets every single first choice player that they want. No squad on planet earth stays fit across an entire season. No team on planet earth who we aspire to be plays 1 game a week.

Yet this Manager requires all 3 to be successful apparently.
All the above true.... His starting tactics, in game management or lack of are on Conte... Seriously.... Sanchez for Deki when we need a goal..... No other solutions on the bench?
