I keep reading these threads and seeing what everyone says about Berba and Keane possibly (probably!) leaving the club in the near future.
Most seem to be resigned to loosing Berba and we all seem to have come to terms with it, so long as £25/£30mil appears in the bank and quickly goes to spain or russia for a quality replacement.
With regards to Keane, most seem to want "Mr Tottenham" to stay. I love him too, we all sing about him at the lane and we all love the effort he puts in.
But to me, £18mil seems like good business for a player who cost us £7mil, gets stroppy at being on the bench, isnt good in 1 on 1s (usefull as a striker) and who's form can fluctuate from Ronaldinho-esque play one week to David Healey form the next week. Dont get me wrong, even when he has been off form (not scoring) he always gives his all, but for me, the lack of form appears to much. Again, I know people will argue that his scoring record speaks for itself but I can recall some fairly horendous misses from Keane in the past.
So long as he is replaced with quality (eg Arshavin or Villa) I for one would be very happy with the situation.
Does anyone else feel like this or does everyone want Keane to stay with us?
