Do you think their best years are behind them or ahead ofthem?

A lot of that depends on themselves and where they end up in the future for whatever club they play for, just look at walker he hasn't done too bad has he EPL winner in his first season compared to fuck all at spurs.

We are not going to lose Rose Dier and Alli next year, and I don't believe Poch has taken this team as far as he can, the team will get better, we lost Walker's pace but nobody else and my understanding is that Aurier is quite quick anyway, that said I do think we could do with a fast bugger or two and hopefully we are working on that, but the idea that we have reached the end of the road and need to start again is not one I agree with.
What I do think, by the noises coming out of the club, including Poch, is that there is a lively discussion going on about our next step into the transfer market and whether it should be a step up in value, that make me optimistic.
I hope your right my friend, but the wage structure at our club is not good enough. Rose and Dier will be gone trebling there wages good bye. Ali since he's changed his agent and got his contract has got to big for his boots . But to be fair to him last season he was class and I feel he is not playing as deep as he was last season. He was scoring for fun last season by making them late runs like lampard use to.I feel he's playing to high up the field this season so not as effective. But the way his attitude comes across any sign of a big money move he will be gone. Especially when the pound coin signs and big coins infront of Levys eyes. Worried extremely worried for our club.

Most of that list were fucking mature enough last year and the year before so not buying that bollocks a lot of them are not at it this year for whatever reason.
The club didn't invest as well as it should have relying on those that served us so well previously to do it again which hasn't happened has it.
We were never going to get top four this year and certainly not the league today we were taught a lesson on what being a big boy is all about like we get taught everytime we play these big games away from home standard.

Definitely needs freshening up

Well the biggest collective threat we had all night was when Lamella came on. End of story. Dele needs to sit down and let Lamella enjoy his football for a while.
Both Kane and Dele should have see red tonight.
City are unstoppable, but the fact that it is bought and not earned has the naive and pure fan in me twisting in fury.
No, what makes me furious is the excitement and blindness of pundits. They simply ignore the fact that over half a BILLION pounds was spent on this set up. Not a single academy player in sight. Football? Nah, it's a shambles.

Totally agree. We WILL lose to Burnley, because they will want to and most of our players won't turn up.
I reckon we'll beat them. Might not be a classic but I'm confident (as well as optimistic so, yeah, bring on the inevitable optimistic ratings!!).

We werent great but also its qorth remembering their front 4 is insane. If you jad to pick a prrmier league 11 would anyone be in the front 4 other than aguero, de bruyne, sane and sterling?? Bare in mond they also were missing david silva and bernardo silve who was on the bench is pretty tasty too.

There is absolutely no way Sterling would be in my or anybody else's Premier League XI ahead of Hazard, Sanchez, Salah, Coutinho or even Eriksen.

Kane consistently outscores Aguero as well.

All these players were at City last year and we finished above them.

I love your optimism.

Not to say im thrilled with the performance today by any means but some of the shit i have read on here is way over the top...this City team is good enough to make a clean sweep of all competitions this year and if were all honest we havent got the tools to compete as it stands they can spend more than us pay more wages than us to attract the top names...i dont really think we can expect much more than the level were at at the moment. We have had a lot darker days and i am sure we will see a lot brighter days than today but lets not become the fans who turns our back on the club because we get beaten the stench of entitlement is what we laughed at the scum for and reading through some of the reactions are we any different?.

Im fuming with todays result got the raging hump but i believe in this club and i love this club regardless of whether we are winning the league or struggling.

I don't mean just a rich person taking over, joe Lewis is rich- all prem owners are

To compete with the money clubs we'd need to be backed by a country or an oligarchy and I'm not comfortable with that

Fair enough that’s your personal point of view. But I would be very happy to have City’s owners

Thought the days of getting spanked were a thing of the past I don't care how good this money team are we shouldn't be getting taught a lesson like we did today it was a bit embarrassing. Poor team selection and tactics. Players are just not at the top of their game right now. Oh and KDB is a cheating fuck. Good night....

We had itk on here that Zaha didn't happen because we offered less wages than what Palace put on the table for an extension.

Gutted about that. I think he's the perfect profile for our club and he's only going to get more expensive now.

They key point you make is this:
30million on bang average Sissoko - should have been spent on wages for the top dogs. That simple. And it still baffles me that we don't operate like that.
If your top player (Kane) is on 100k a month - that's near on 5 million a year....relative to a 30million blow out on Sissoko - it doesn't make sense.
Exactly what I said a couple of weeks ago but I got mostly bad feedback. It's not rocket sience is it just a simple solution.

I know city are heavily bankrolled but we have been outplayed too many times this season and look average against weaker teams. We have played teams who have teams worth half the money of our team and still been beaten. So sorry just not all about the money today, but is a little:) I have said it all season, this is not a strong squad. I think to be fair with a full compliment of players today, Wanyama, Toby, Rose with more games, Lamela with more games, we would have been better. This is not an excuse though as all teams get injuries in the season, difference is some of them ( like City) have a bigger better squad. Unfortunately until Levy is willing to spend money this is how it will look for a while. And like I have said next season could be even worse if we see the exodus I am expecting in the summer. Walker and Rose have been the first ones to talk about it, we saw what happened with walker ( wonder how he feels tonight, justified comes to mind). I know I’ll get hammered for this post ( again) but wake up guys and see the real root cause of what’s happening this year.
No. Aurier is and has always been the better player. He's a very good RB. And he also wouldn't have been either woefully out of position or getting skinned alive when actually in position, on the off chance he was. Trippier had one of the worst, if not the worst, defensive performance I have ever seen.

A lot of things are getting worse rather than better. Every team has a shelf life. But there is still a lot that is marvelous about our squad.

Not a bad match really. Highly interesting, most of it. I thought the ref was against us, clearly not up to the task of handling a home team of international stars. That might have edged it. I also though that if it wasn't for our lack of luck, we might have been luckier and not been so unlucky. So I urge you to a little perspective, if we had created more goals, we would have won this easily!

"The refs cost us the game again" cry I was wondering when some idiot would come out with that stupid excuse. We were totaly outclassed
There is absolutely no way Sterling would be in my or anybody else's Premier League XI ahead of Hazard, Sanchez, Salah, Coutinho or even Eriksen.

But we won nothing AGAIN and they have come back stronger as have Utd.
