Chelsea's away support has gotta be the most thick and ignorant group of people ever assembled....complete and utter pond life.
I imagine most of them still point to the sky when they see an aeroplane.

Or mimick one in American airports...

I suspect they simply duck and run for cover.

Wonder what Roman is thinking seeing City right now. He knows he can’t compete financially, wonder if he might think ok I’ve had my fun. New stadium won’t be ready for 7 years do I really want to hang around for that. They think they are now self sufficient and could survive without him. Ultimately they have a 40k stadium. If he left tomorrow I think they’d be behind us. It’s actually interesting when you look at all the top clubs . Owners may think what’s the point spending £200m as we can’t touch city anyway. In someways it doesn’t really affect us as we have a £0 net spend and basically use our moneyball to operate. But you could seriously see the likes of Liverpool Chelsea owners getting a bit disillusioned.

Abramovich will only leave Chelsea when he's either in prison or dead. He's not going to get fed up of owning them. He's a fan now and they are his play thing. Why would he seriously leave.

He won't leave because the whole thing has always been more to do with him wanting to have a very public presence in the west to avoid being "dealt with" by his compatriots than it has to do with him wanting a play thing

What's this Bakayoko supposed to be? He's looked a liability every time I've seen him.

Obviously buying off objectors isn't any problem for Abramovich, but I am still surprised that it's just the one property owner that's holding out.

Be interesting to see (if it gets built) how much it costs. Seen with us and now Everton that the original quotes spiral, and for SB they're already saying a billion!

ring the house in the concept art, name the family and it's members in the report...this is going to end well

It's just the idea that one premises objecting could halt the construction of a project that could transform the whole area. REALLY?

Errrr, no, wait a minute, It's Chelscum. ... An Englishman's home is his castle. The project should be halted and the club disbanded!

Could just wait until their house... you know... burns down inexplicably with no involvement from the club, sometimes that happens.

I like the design but think it would be more suited to an art gallery or museum, not Chelsea FC.

A new home for them needs to be represent the club, their fans values and its history, so something made of concrete with grey columns, long red banners from top to bottom, a platform behind the goal for the manager to speak to the fans from, and maybe change their crest to a big gold Eagle so they can have a statue of it above him.

Oh, and a car park in the corners and weird subbuteo style nets to reflect where they've come from.
