Seeing the FIFA banner "Fifa against racism" at the WC U20, I hope it will one day read "FIFA against racism and FRAUD"

He overseas/oversaw an organization know and proven to be corrupt.
That means he is either completely pig ignorant and not fit to be the President, or he's corrupt and not fit to be the President.

FIFA bans 2018 & 2022 World Cup bids inspector Harold Mayne-Nicholls for 7 yrs. Last year he was considering running for Fifa presidency

Things have just got a whole lot more interesting. ? Think this is the guy who wrote or presented the technical reports that showed Qatar was not suitable due to heat - but the bid still proceeded.

Time for his bosses - such as Blatter - to answer to the same charges as this guy methinks

Some of he background to the banning, but a lot more to come out - and he was the FIFA man who expressed concern at holding the WC in Qatar due to the temperatures

Does anyone remember Fifa saying they will release the Garcia report?

What the fuck has taken them so long or has the press forgotten or even worse I missed it?

its quite phenomenal that this has taken so long to air and the way in which it is taking even longer for people to agree to how they can now move forward. Surely the best thing is to do a clean sweep of FIFA and remove all previous staff and country representatives and replace them with a mix of professionals from inside and outside football. the only thing, aside from building the legal case, that is standing in its way is probably individuals with skeletons in their closets trying to extricate themselves from proceedings. Will the olympics be next.

Statement from FIFA sponsor McDonalds

McDonalds statement on FIFA
“At McDonald’s, we know our customers around the world are passionate about football, and we share their enthusiasm. That’s why we’ve sponsored the World Cup globally for more than 20 years. But recent allegations and indictments have severely tarnished FIFA in a way that strikes at the very heart of our sponsorship.

“As a result, we have expressed our concerns directly to FIFA. We believe FIFA internal controls and compliance culture are inconsistent with expectations McDonald’s has for its business partners throughout the world. We are not satisfied with FIFA’s current handling of the recent incidents that go clearly against McDonald’s culture and values.
“FIFA must now implement meaningful changes to restore trust and credibility with fans and sponsors alike. The world expects concrete actions and so does McDonald’s.”

If I were McDonalds I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for these "meaningful changes".
